Re: The Green Tools ****

Has anyone found a source for the extreme green powder for use in powdercoating? I want to do my 8" wilton tradesmen and a floorjack or two.

They give me the powder code (PCU-40134) for ppg but after contacting PPG i need to buy 55 lbs of it and set up an account, they said no one in the u.s. stocks it. Maybe we could get a group buy or someone has some they would sell

Green is self cleaning!!

I did just get most of them!!

My green prybars have paid for themselves during my demo!! My thumb got between that 30" and the wall of the house yesterday while prying off strapping... Still hurts...

Talk to CudaChick. She might be able to get you a smaller quantity.

Sorry I wasn't able to help out with that. I have a small low budget operation here in the middle of BFE -- my past customers have usually spent money on their cars, not prettying up their tools. :D I DO have a couple small 1950s Army green SO tool boxes coming up in line.

I just can't bring myself to taking the snap ring pliers to that level. I really should as they take up an entire drawer.

I should have asked in this thread, but the PL1000G, is that NOS or a new release? Also the needle nose with the two serrated areas, what is the PN on that? Lastly were the slip joints the same or are they two different PNs?

Thanks!

All are different.

I still need the set of two large greeen snsp ring pliers. Those i use most often actually. Back hoes and boom trucks have some large snap rings as well as tongue jacks

Ive got plenty of drawers though so im ok, as soon as this is paid off im waiting for the deal i got on it to come back (ended up paying about 50-60%) of msrp for the entire box. And buying the side lockers. I really miss the locker i had on my krl .

I have bought my first green tools today. I like the fact that when I drop them into a mixer etc. they are very easy to find again. I only bought a set of screwdrivers and picks. Normally I always buy Orange or Red but the green is growing on me!
