Was at Advance today for an oil filter, these stopped me in my tracks. "Select" Gear Wrench sets 50% off. Scored these for $49, normally $99. I have a trunk set of wrenches now. The sales goes through Dec 28th. Christmas came a day early for me..

I think they go on sale for that a lot at advanced Auto Parts Stores.

Yeah we don't have Advance around these parts, but there are a few CarQuests which I take it are now owned by Advance. I get emails from Advance on specials and whenever I see something I like and head down to Carquest to get something I always have to show them the ad on my phone to get the sale price because otherwise they know nothing about it.

Actually, same goes for Napa around here for any advertised specials. I have to show them on my phone to get the sale price because they haven't a clue what national sales are going on.
