^^I noticed that one was different...
I know 'vises' is going to get all the attention right now, as he should, amazing collection.. But if I could sneak in a question, is a Prentiss bull dog no. 56 a 6" vise? And if so is it worth $100? As always condition and location is everything..
Seller listed a weight at 120 lbs.. Which sounds like a six inch to me.. But I'm still not quite ready to assess value on my own yet

I am over here in AZ and I wouldthink that that vise is worth $100 I wouldn't pay much more and would try and get it for $50 or $75. I bet it would clean up nice

I would agree its a 6 inch based on that water bottle across the jaws.
Assuming no hidden damage or welds, in my area that would be gone in a day at $100

You joined GJ July 2016, this is how long it took to take all those pictures? I assume these pics are from your personal shop and collection....vises aside, nice looking shop also.

You need to give us some back story. Not just a one liner on tap talk, but how long have you been collecting, where abouts are you located, and in all those pics, not 1 or 2, but many unique looking vises, big and small. You must have some good stories behind some of these.

You have a ballpark number on how many you have?

Looks to be an older Prentiss swivel jaw, maybe a 19 1/2 or larger - 4 or 4.5 inch jaws. It is difficult to estimate the size of the jaws.

A look at the swivel lock down mechanism would help verify if it is a Prentiss.

I was just eyeballing the jaws against the tiles and door jamb? I'd guess on the high side of that range?
