Figured I needed something from Armstrong before they're gone. 2af166b0510bb6e13bc0f186e3fb16aa.jpg

Should make vacuuming out the truck a little less of a chore.

Was torn between red and yellow. Finally decided on yellow. DCK397HM2 combo kit with the free 3/8 impact.

That is a pretty set of pliers. How are they to use?

They are good, but maybe not the best. Very comfortable and the cutters perform well. The machine work is fantastic. With that said the needle nose can't take any torsion (twisting). The Snap On are in my opinion the best needle nose available but the NWS handle is nicer.

Ice Cream Truck stopped by today. I ordered the soft face hammer and spring tools when they were on sale in the Xmas flyer. I needed a proper valve stem tool, and its hard to say no to an air hammer when the bit set is free! Protective boot on order. Please pass the tool polish.

I've only had them a couple hours, so I can't really say yet. They feel even better than they look, though.

Duhhhhhhhh. I didn't think that through completely did I? Haha. Though if the handles feel that good, you've got my attention.

I will have to check them out. I've got specialized pliers and such for my electronics work, but do need to upgrade the pliers in the box.

I hope so. The Craftsman one I have is just a noisemaker. Hits like a 4 year old. It was free and I still think I overpaid for it.

I've needed an air hammer with some power several times over the past year; this is the best deal I've seen on these.

I got the same free bits when I bought mine!! I have added a sheet metal ripper, and it cuts like a hot knife thru butter... Louder though!!

Is this air hammer a flyer deal?

I just texted my driver, and he is saying it is only on sale ($50 off). $420.

In the flyer it only says something to the effect of "Trade up to a good deal, ask your franchisee today!" Another poster, possibly a page or two back, mentioned he got the free bits with his. So I asked my driver what the air hammer deal was and he told me its regular price, but includes the 5 bits, which sell for over $200. List price on the gun is $425.

Oops, I see you're in Canada. I'm in the USA. Deals may be different. But you guys seem to get better prices than we do, when you factor in the exchange rate!

Ditto, mine was $425 with the free bits. My guy doesn't use flyers, that I've seen, he just puts all promo items on a service cart in his truck

Some more goodies arrived today. Those Kant-Twist clamps are super nice. Not sure I'll ever use a C-clamp again, unless its the only thing that fits. Starrett makes some really, really nice tools. And before you guys get any ideas, the blue thing is a Lisle battery brush! :bounce:
