Yeah, I guess they just look like they're missing the sockets in the picture. That helps a lot! That'll be my next purchase for sure, along with some other things...

I Don't think you'll be disappointed. They really aren't Chinese quality. It replaced my Stanley torx set, my SK metric hex set and my craftsman SAE set.

Is that a Gearwrench ratcheting serpentine belt set I spot there? Hard to make out but I think that's it. If that's what it is I've been interested in grabbing one of those. Would be interested to know your thoughts so far.Just grabbed these out of the UPS mans hands...

Indeed it is! I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but everything in the kit is nice and light and feels quality. I made sure to find a kit that was COO Taiwan due to the ratcheting mechanism; however, the included sockets leave a little to be desired. The 18mm has a few spots of peeling chrome and the bore on all of the sockets is a little rough. But for the price I paid and the fact that it was a promo with the free double X pliers, I'm happy.
I finally broke down and got a pair of knipex cobras today, I've been looking at them for months now, they were on sale at sears do, what the heck. Sorry for the blurry pic.

Sorry, but I don't think those are the cobras.
I made the same mistake myself. Note the difference. Cobras on top.

Caught myself almost buying the wrong knipex several months ago. The true cobras with the button are what I got... freaking love them.

I have had mine for a while, I don't use it every day, but it has been a great addition, I did find that one of my cars needed a T65 torx bit to make it work and they don't offer one, so I am making a custom one. Other than that I like the kit a lot.

I bought one a couple years ago. The damn thing is great, I use the **** out of it. You can configure it in-line and really get some leverage or off-set getting under something, all kinds of crazy configurations basically. I haven't had one issue with the adapters but will admit I haven't used any of the open ends. Just make sure you catch it on sale when its around $50.00. Then it's worth it.

Yep I use the piss out of the gearwrench serp belt tool as well.
The one's I've purchased have been off the matco truck, but they are made by gearwrench. I've purchased 3 of them over the years. One for work, one for home/hobby shop and most recently bought one for a good friend for christmas.

If you type "screw chek'r" in the Amazon search bar their products are the first couple hits. I'm not sure who actually manufacturers them but other companies carry them too.
I own a Thread Detective but these two chek'r tools go much smaller.

Got some Mac stuff today, been waiting 3 months for the die grinder, straight one is back ordered so I guess o have to wait longer. Impulsed bought the extra long screw drivers.
Picked up this Lista cabinet from kijiji for $60 tonight. Has original keys and heavy duty casters on it.
Does anyone know where I can get the drawer dividers in Canada?

Looks like it is two cabinets bolted together, they would make for nice storage under a bench if you separate them again. No matter what you do, that was a great price. Sorry, but no clue where to get the dividers in Canada.

Yes, it is 2 bolted together. The gentleman i bought them from used to work for Boeing in Toronto and got it from there.
Bench storage is kind of what I had in mind. I need to build an out feed table for my table saw. I'm thinking these will be incorporated and used for jigs/router bits/misc tooling and attachments. Unless I come up with another idea first.

Got the 51 piece Blue Point 1/4" drive service set off of the truck. I was going to get a 1/4" ratchet by itself but the set was actually cheaper than any of the Snap On ratchets by themselves.
The ratchet quality isn't the same as the SO stuff but it's better than the old broken ratchet I had, plus there are a bunch of torx and hex bits as well as some 1/4" drive sockets...my 10 and 8mm have been annoyingly missing so now I'm complete again. Better value for me at this point with this set vs just getting the ratchet.

I'm going to order the 1/4 and 1/2 inch as well. I like the handle on my snap-on fx80 more but you can't best Armstrong on the price and quality.

To be honest, I dont always find my self using the extra long screw drivers. However, its those once in a blue moon situations your glad you bought them.

Picked up this Bosch combo last month that was mismarked at lowes. Was supposed to be $329, got it for $229. Now it's listed at $249 online, but at least it was a damn good deal when I got it!
Stayed with Bosch because of my other 18v impact that I use on the cars.

a deal Cornwell had going. Buy the drill and get the left hand cobalt bits. Price was 188 for set.
finally a decent drill bit set. Mainly for doing left foot accelerator installs. Bought from pep boys.
Cornwell bit set and screwdriver at a sale price he had that was way to good to pass up. Only had 3 left. 
Used streamlight from snappy for 90$
thought this USB rechargeable pen light was nice. Have been using it for a week or so and really like.
snapon heated hoodie with power pack.

I have the bigger kit with 1/4 and 3/8 drive. Short and long sockets with both 6 and 12 point. I agree the ratchets aren't my favorite but they aren't bad. I love being able to just grab the case and have every size right where I am working.
That Cornwell bit set looks nice. How is the eschewing driver?
