That socket looks and feels extremely high quality. I was gonna order a 21mm until I found out the price.

I saw these in my napa catalogue and thought the same thing.... I would rather spend the money on a more powerful impact tool. This would be good for Honda crank bolts, but the additional size would sure limit its applications...

Sure is a nice socket I tell ya!

Lots of 21mm Stuff on my Ford truck but, at a price of more than $100 Canadian each. Think I will just grab the 3/4 drive.

Edit: Thinking about it more. If I needed special sockets like this for daily grind jobs like Honda crank bolts. I'de have no problem paying the premium!

04chase. I have that exact same puller set. It's one of my most prized tool sets, I fn luv it. And the best part, it was a gift from a buddy.

Was on the Matco truck the other day. It's funny, because the Matco guy sells snap-on (stuff that was traded in) tools dirt cheap and the snap-on guy sells traded in Matco tools dirt cheap--all while bad mouthing each other. LMFAO.

So I saw this snap-on cooling system pressure tester on the matco truck in the trade in bin. Was cheap so I got it for my hobby shop as I didn't have one there. Have had a (made in usa) Stant one at work for 20 years.

Also decided to jump on the Astro bandwagon and picked up this 3/4" drive set from Tooltopia... along with a new (like I ******** need another one) streamlight stinger HL flashlight (not pictured). And a set of Sunex 3/8" drive deep metric wobbles, and gearwrench 1/4" drive metric shallow set, all for the hobby shop.

Done buyin tools after this year ... :lol_hitti

The part that bugs me, couldn't you achieve similar results with the weighted portion separating from the socket so you could just put any 1/2" Socket on rather than buying a whole set?

Picked up a magnetic pad at cdn tire to attach all my random sets too so I could get rid off all the floppy socket rails, works great! Also got the 4 piece set of knipex snap ring pliers to replace be reversible switch style Lang's that o broke the other day and a tekton 1 1/6" - 2" crows foot set

What do you think of the crows foot set? I have even eyeing it up on Amazon for a while now! Seams like a good price. I've read a few reviews saying the drive end was flimsy?

It's in the house right now, it was at my door when I got home yesterday, check back tomorrow evening and I will let you know what I think of them, my biggest concern was spreading, I hope they don't spread very much, at first glance they are THICK, fit and finish isn't snap on quality but for 120 bucks cdn I am not complaining about fit and finish.

Then saw the everbilt small parts tube organizers good for small items in my toolbox. Then got the Ryobi in vehicle charger for when I am out with my cordless stuff and need to charge a battery up. And the Bosch concrete bits drill into concrete like it is butter. [emoji41][emoji41]

For $1.50 each it's nice to have that spare set of thin wrenches when you need one! Got them at Daiso

Ok, tried the 1 1/2" crows foot out on a 1" grade 8 bolt and nut in a vice at work, put my 24" - 1/2" dr SO flex head ratchet on it and couldn't get the crows foot to spread noticeably. Put a torque wrench and socket on the nut and stopped trying to loosen @ 200 ft lbs. Quick end of the day test but that is better than I expected. It's worth noting that the majority of the wrenches in this set at about 1/2@ thick, where an expensive set like Snap on sells is probably more like 1/4" thick. Hope that helps.

Now working out of a service truck that comes home with me, so it was getting redundant to have a full range of sockets in the work truck, a full set of 3/8" & 1/4" SKs in the garage, and my old trusty Craftsman set behind the seat of my pickup.

Sold the home SK sets and filled out the missing 1/4" & 3/8" pieces in the Craftsman box with a mix of Kobalt USA, NAPA, Allen and Armstrong from Cripe. A couple of used Matco sockets for 10mm & 9/16". Also changed my work ratchets to QR comfort grips thanks to working outside in the cold, so the all metal Snap-ons came home. Also a 13mm Deep Craftsman Industrial to replace the original socket I split, MAC knurled extension with a Wright locking adapter, Snap-on 3/8" flex joint and Proto Los Angeles 1/4" flex joint.

Pretty damned fancy versus how it started out!

This little fella was on promo.

Wife said, "Don't you already have one like that?" "No, I have two like it, but they're bigger."

Awesome. Thank you very much for testing them out a bit. I am looking at transitioning into the heavy duty (ag) trade, coming from automotive. So anything over 1" is relatively foreign to me! I really like the price point of this set, and have heard relatively decent things about tekton. I will be giving these a try!

Been doing a lot of research/snooping around for decently priced large drive tools, and it isn't easy!

Had these in my watchlist for awhile already. Still haven't pull the trigger yet. Are the walls as thin as regular chrome sockets or in between impact and chrome?
