The chisel rang up as 2.49 and the blades as .99, at Tractor Supply.

I went a little crazy with clamps. They were all great deals and I will certainly use them, these are from Cripe, eBay, and Zoro. I bought the Freud forstner bits to build a clamp rack.

Nice haul! More details on models? Prices? Any smoking deals or just decent prices on items you needed/wanted? Need more clamps for fab work. Have plenty of regular vise-grips but not many of the big/c-style/etc. clamps.

Those big ones are interesting ....

Most of the clamps were made by Grip-on. A few are just used Blue-Point branded clamps from eBay.

These big ones are new-old-stock Napa aluminum and Cripe has plenty on sale at a great price! These are really handy for autobody and sheet metal fabrication.

The axial clamps are also new-old-stock Napa closeouts from eBay:

Not big and fancy, but I picked up some drop forged 1/2" NC eye bolts
These will come in handy unloading some big pieces of 4" thick steel plate I'll be picking up soon

Forgot about this, picked them up a while ago.. knipex 9" linesman pliers. I don't need them, but they were on sale for 1/2 the price of Klein's. For a general pair to keep around the shop I love them. Real solid, great jaws and cutters. For real electrical work I still prefer my Klein's though. I always used to have Klein, but knipex has seemed to have won me over.

My boss has the snapon one. Needs a lot of air but it's kind of heavy IMO. But that helps to weaken the blows impacted through to your hand

Not much talk about 3/4" guns on here but I think the IR 2295 is one of the most powerful on the market and will be my keeper for extreme duty. You can actually reverse or forward bias the motor to output ~1600 foot pounds of working torque which is ridiculous. Its a little heavy though, feels like it would double as a good wheel chock.

Grabbed these a week ago. $119 Canadian. Went in for a Milwaukee drill, and KMS was sold out. These were 20 bucks cheaper, for the entire kit.

I already have some Bosch at home. These went to work for now, till I can grab a Milwaukee drill. Really am happy with them. Nice and light, and decent enough power. For a drill, impact, charger, two 2.0 batteries, and a bag, I can't complain.

Holy smokes that's a great price. That'd be about $89 USD

Kenmore Model 50. Fairly rare, but very basic. All metal construction.
Nice. A bit lighter than the sewing machines I usually deal with, but I like the old ones.
I'm going to be upgrading from my Chinese singer clone (techsew ga5, does about 1/2") to some old iron pretty soon. Have a BUSM Pearson #6 currently being rebuilt for me. Really looking forward to getting my hands on that.

And a boot for my 2763 impact. It's more rubbery and less plasticy than I expected.

do not buy this! it would barely cut 1/16" x 1/2" aluminum.

For something similar but a little better in that same price range, ~$25 for a Klutch angle grinder holder and a ~$10-15 for a HF angle grinder (assuming you don't already have a better one) works pretty good for what it is. There was a recent thread discussing it here:
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=6367059#post6367059

A new 4-1/2 inch cutoff wheel would still only give you just barely over a 1" cutting depth. If you need more than that then probably best to look for a good deal on a 14" chop saw.

thank you wheeler, i just ordered one. this will be much better since i can use my 4 1/2" grinder, which will have way more power than that under powered "saw"

It's been a busy start to the week. After years of keeping an eye on Craigslist in multiple locations, I had the matching bottom box for my Craftsman top AND a close enough to fit bottom box for my Snap-on KRA-61F show up in a two day period. Both need some cleanup and work, but I'm thrilled to have one for work, and one for home.
IMG_4852_zps0y7gmlxe.jpg

Now it's time to sell off my 41" Waterloo at work (that is mostly empty since being moved into a service truck) and all the mix and match carry boxes at home.

You'll like those. I've got a set of Gray's I use all the time. The box and the tools in them all look identical, wouldn't be surprised if one factory makes them for everyone. Probably something like urethane deadblows where one company makes them for everyone else

Lang (formerly Kastar) is the OEM of the 40 and 48 pc thread restorer sets that are also rebranded as Craftsman, Matco, Snap On, etc, so it wouldn't surprise me Gray also.

Great set. Craftsman often winds up being the best price, but they no longer cover it under their lifetime guarantee. They now include a little disclaimer saying they are considered a consumable. If someone happens to have an older set that still says 'lifetime' on it then you'll probably have to bring the whole set in to show them to get a replacement.

I would be very surprised if they didn't make the Gray's. Look absolutely identical. Craigslist find in new condition, hard to argue with that.

Thread restorers are hard to screw up. I wouldn't touch any thread cutting tap sold in hardware stores though.... Marxman, yamawa, and Osborne blue wizard are about the best out there in my experience
