They had these in Bellingham Wa last week for $100, the reviews aren't good. They also had 2 stroke Toro head for just $65! I picked it up and if works great.

I had one. Hated it. Worked well when it would run but that was only half a season. The carb kept getting out of adjustment and leaking gas. It's also heavy

Damn, was about to get one but now may have to think about this some more. Price almost too good to pass. 4 cyl gas with straight string trimmer head for $100.

HD recently clearanced the Cat branded chargers. Looks like the dewaltz have more output and cost more as well.

Were they $149 in your area yesterday? They were still $149 when I went in my store yesterday and I am wondering if they have dropped to the 02 price in South Texas

Would love to find another one or two of these in my area. I bought one and was impressed with it and could use a couple more.

Bought this at 50 because i couldn't wait, and this thing rocks. Runs down a 4ah battery in about as long as it takes to charge one. Likes to walk a lot, but I don't have a comparison (last sander was a half sheet) so i just let it do what it wanted and that seemed to work fine.

If it is what I think it is, someone will be pleasantly surprised when they ring this up...sku ends in a 1.

I did not check the pca cause I did not have much time and was not interested in getting this for myself or flipping. So they might have corrected the price.

How obvious were you when you took those screenshots?

Obvious enough to make HD want to shut down the computers so we can never use them again?

I very obviously take pic's of the screen all the time. I've only had one employee ever question me. He actually called up front on his handheld and stood over my shoulder giving them the play by play. I closed out of it, got his name.

4 hours later I filed my complaint and the 2nd in charge of the store called me within 30 minutes to personally apologize. The employee was spoken to and told those are for the public and don't ever bother anyone using one again.

The HD.com icon, PCA and accuweather are in the public line of the terminal. They are for public use, nothing wrong with taking pic's at all.

If HD had an issue with people using the PCA, A) it wouldn't be in the public field of the terminal and B) it would be password protected, need employee info, etc. to sign in.

I've actually showed a few HD employees how to use the PCA. They had no idea it existed and thought it was neat. I've used the PCA at over 20 stores, right next to employees fairly often, only the one dope ever had an issue with it and he got his **** chewed out for it.

You may want to mention these photos and prices were from the Camarillo store specifically, other stores even in the "SOCAL AREA" may not have the same pricing.

Please don't post "dumps" of the PCA or use this forum to express your opinion. Thanks. Now back to the deals only.

Yeah, best to start at the beginning, and also read the 2016 thread's start...

Basically on all computers in HD, there is a basic screen with various icons for different programs, some for public use, some employee only.

In the public section one of the icons is "Price Check", which opens a browser window and allows you to search for items, either via keyword, SKU, or UPC. It will show you the current store price and inventory amount. This page is only accessible via the computers in the store, you can't get to it from your phone even if connected to store wifi.

If you've typed in an item UPC and it shows "not found", and you are sure the page isn't giving you connection errors, then congrats you just found a penny item. (i.e. when you go to check out it will ring up as .01)....

Or you just typed it in wrong. Also, you can check the sku when you can find them. They are either 6 or 10 digits. Or you can search my name and model on the price check app, but that is more iffy than using the upc/sku.

Zinsser Mold Killing Primer now $33 down from 130, sku 1001308396

After having these at a white tag killer price my store now seems committed to clearing them at the same price. Fantastic way to organize your 1/4" hex bits IMO and IME

My store crammed 18 boxes in the clearance end cap; looks like 6 units per box. And they still had 'em hanging w the pegboard stuff, too
