no brown golf ball joke from me. But thanks for the laugh.
The ramps may be good for it but I don't think I am putting a skid steer in the back of my pick up. In their defense they were much lighter back then

Also, silly question: when you mentioned getting a number in your other post I assumed you meant a bidders number. I have been to many auctions, mostly farm equipment but some estate auctions. As I read farther it seems like this is something different. I am also familiar with the yard sale style....but this seems different.

Everything was priced cheap, and I'm kicking myself for not getting more initially because I went back later in the day on my way to run errands and the place was pretty well cleaned out. I *try* to leave some things for others but sometimes it's hard to pass up a deal. This guy had mostly Craftsman, Powr Kraft, and Stanley Handyman.
So, does anyone know what this is? A sander, a scraper? All it says is "Craftsman" on the handle on one side...
Looks like a paint scraper for peeling paint.
I actually had a few garage and several estate sales on a weekday, even if it was a Friday!
First stop was also my last stop as they were not done setting up. The also started drinking Mimosa's before they even finished setting up!
So I moved on and at the best looking ES, I got a 4" Truecraft adjustable, a Ford wrench, A Williams superwrench DBE, a 50 cal case, dated 1945, and an old lamp reputedly from Portugal and she claimed was older than I was and had belonged to her grandmother as a young girl, who passed 20 years ago at 90..

Also this wind chime with the softest prettiest tinkleing tone! Ten for all the above.

The others stops had noting I wanted, to part $$ for, and it was back t the first stop where I picked up the deer bookends, a dozen new beeswax, candles, and a vintage picture frame as SWMBO prefers old funky frames like this... $7 all
The book ends are already in place holding mostly hunting/camping books up on shelves over my desk.

Jason, Nice finds on both the camp kitchen and the weather station!
While I have used a clear finish on some camp gear, to be honest a high gloss paint lives longer. The clear ploy's don't do that well wet. and I always plan for wet...
I'm sort of big on forest green for camp gear or something like Chevy Orange for things I want very visible (trip hazards, or "don't lose this!" things...)
Outlaw,
The lamp is a very old design and probably is older than you or dirt!
If it has some markings on it...........but you already know that!
John

) etc...
we looked up the artist and apparently he was active in the early 1900's to late 40's and one landscape was auctioned off for $1000!
So this one is a candidate for "antiques road show" if and when...
Wow, Nate--you got almost an entire garage for you money! Did you leave anything for any one else...;-)I think thats all of it

John, it has zero markings; nothing. Not even a single numeral or letter...![]()
Auto parts run this morning gave me a chance to hit some yard sales on the way back. No joy at the first two TOOs (didn't even get out of the truck), but a targeted stop yielded a 1/2" Herbrand 32000 ratchet (nice and shiny, might not be too old), a 15' two prong extension cord, a 14' yard stake extension cord, and a rafter square with the short end cut down to 12". All for $4.

I also spotted but didn't buy this Stanley Tools cabinet. It appeared to be of the same era as some of the Craftsman cabinets we've seen on this thread before, but since I have no Stanley tools, I didn't find it compelling.
