Yes, the wire wheels and grinding stones have been on clearance for a while. My store has a TON of them and they don't seem to be selling. They also have a lot of fiber masonry / steel wheels for circular saws & chop saws on clearance.

I'm curious if anyones had luck getting a refund on custom paint. I was recently at lowe's and out of the blue an employee told me they will give partial refunds for paint, even custom paint. I bought the paint 5 months ago so its outside the normal return window. Do you think i would get a refund?

Are those wire wheels any better than Harbor Freight though?

Last time they were posted, I literally got one in every size, and in coarse and fine, that they had at my store. The ones Ive used have been fine so far, especially for the price they were

Normal refunds must be done within 90 days I believe...

I think they only give a refund on paint if it is mis-tinted...

30 days for custom paint per policy. Can usually wiggle a bit with the manager.

Thank you ItsFriday, I finally got the Dremel kit today for $20. One of the employees got my first order. If anybody is nearby, you should check out the Bedford, VA Lowes. I've never seen so much stuff on clearance in a Lowes before. I didn't see any really good deals, but I wasn't in there long.

Dewalt DCD777C2. Lowes Opelika had the drill/driver, Dewalt DCD777C2 for $99. Same as the online price, but it was easy to walk in, walk out with a new drill with 2 batteries.

Glad you could get one. The SD people were like locusts buying up all the dremels under $40 near me. What they didn't know was they were all inventory errors as I had already cleaned up the stores :)

Thanks for the post. All full price around me, but I'll keep my eye on it and hopefully they go clearance.

The NWS made Irwin diagonal cutters had a clearance tag on them again. I'd say keep an eye on these b/c last time they clearanced them out I grabbed a couple pairs for less than $10 each.

https://www.lowes.com/pd/IRWIN-8-in-Cutting-Plier/50289489

I got a set for $17. Someone put them on the peg for the regular Irwin cutters. They rang up for $23. But they gave them to me for 18. They are definitely made to cut harder metal. They don't cut stranded wire and other softer material very well. But they will cut screws and things of that hardness like butter.

I saw 2 tool chests on clearance just now. I think they're the same ones I previously posted. The kobalt is nice it has electricity and the drawers seem deep

My cousin had used a similar product on his deck, after having the deck pressure washed. Just like the reviews for this product sections peeled off during the winter. (back deck no shoveling involved . . .)

Following year he asks me to fix it. Rent a floor sander. Spend the day sanding the rest of the **** off the deck. Re stained the deck, no more peeling.

That Waterloo is $38.15 near me, but the 1 that is in stock they can't find... Keep an eye on it for price drops, for $40 I would grab it... Even better would be if you needed something else too then order online with a $15 off $50 coupon...

1 out of about 10 stores in my area have these listed for $17.99 right now. I would hold out for the next price drop but still a good deal at $18.

Did you go to the store and look at the rafters? Sometimes lowe's stores will keep tools/tool chests on aisles far away from the item. It's probably there somewhere.

Yes, every time I am there I have walked up and down every isle looking up in the rafters. Only place I can't go is back in receiving and where they store a bunch of appliances... I'm pretty sure it's an inventory error but I still have my hopes...

And why would I pay 18 dollars for this.. Unless its made out of gold....

I get channellock brand pliers, cutters, etc. for at the most $1 each at yard sales. Most of the time I'll have $200 worth of tools and pay $10 for them.

$18 for those isn't even close to even a good price to me.

Lowe's just reduced the price on some levels - some really crazy prices! I got plenty though, still deciding if I should buy any.

Anyone know where the cheapest stanley 96" level still in stock is? Trying to find one to price-match with the local store.

Looks like 10%, $10 off $50, $15 off $50, and $20 off $100 coupons are live again. Somehow 10% gets automatically applied to any order I place at Lowes.com. Is it some internal bug? :dunno:
