You guys are gonna love this... I already got notification of shipping for mine... hehe...

ORTHO Home Defense 20-lb Insect Killer for Lawns

attachment.php

$1.00 SHIPPED... Regularly $15.97

Clackamas County Lowe's
13631 S.E. Johnson Rd
Milwaukie, OR

You can only order 1 at a time... I would not go overboard trying to purchase a ton, every spring/fall you can usually find this stuff being clearanced out for a buck or two. I do like to put down this stuff in my yard every 3 months (during the warm months at least)...
Thanks Jason

While I was at Lowe's today trying to navigate down an isle, they had several of them packed full with pallets to the point I could not walk by... The labels said something about "Vanity Refresh" and I don't recall the date but I think it was soon.

Not sure what is going to happen to old vanity's but I would expect them to be clearanced out.

So today I was near a Lowe's that supposedly had several of the Vaughan V4 hammers at 70% off, and I decided to get one. Had an employee look through all the top stock to no avail, they were all MIA. My closest Lowe's is out of them (or at least thinks they are) and so has reverted to full price. And a Lowe's I have a cooperative relative nearby still supposedly has a few but is only at 30% off.

Keep looking whenever you are there as long as they show in stock. Sometimes they find them in the wrong place and eventually move them to where things should go.

I got a shipping confirmation on 10 bags of grub killer and 5 packs ant bait. They’ll be here tomorrow in time to take to the farm and treat the yard this weekend. Ordered from the store shown on your post and they both shipped from about 50 miles from Houston. Thanks again.

Here's some in-store only locations with price and inventory.

My store (Rogers, AR) says they have 7 @ $35.76 if you want to pay that price I can go buy & ship for you.

Otherwise cheapest place to ship is $59.60 at Store #: 417

You can't find those Nucleus because they are on national recall. Don't believe me? It'll pop up saying "This item cannot be sold, RTV."

The store I work in in CT has the price on that as $149! Very strange. Jim
I went to a Huntsville, Al area Lowe's. They had 6....When the employee checked the price, the computer displayed "not for resale RTM"

I browsed the website and it was showing some marked down... I don't know if there are others they pulled from the website though.

Probably easiest just to go to your store and see what they have.

Welcome to the site, dh3885. :) If you still have your receipt, the item numbers should be on it.

I was at Lowe's today looking at Werner mutliladder/extension ladders. There was a Werner 22 MT-series I was thinking of getting so I have to ask:

Are these ladders safe when fully extended?? Because they look ****-puckery when they are fully extended IMHO (like the joint would give way and collapse). My problem is I want a nice 20'+ extension ladder but the pickup bed is only 6' and I need to be able to transport it.

What do you do when you need to reach decent heights but need to transport the ladder in a 6ft truck bed?

I love my multi-position ladder... So much so that I never get out the big fiberglass ladders out anymore.

It can be a little more wobbly than a regular extension ladder, not because of the middle pivot point, that point actually locks SOLID, but the sliding extension parts have loose fit (so they can slide in & out). But once you put your weight on it and have it at the correct angle, no worries at all...and I'm a big guy, so if I feel confident it's going to hold my weight, any normal person should have zero issues...

See I feel the opposite way. I hate my mt22 as an extension ladder - the steps go wide then skinny then back to wide and doesn’t feel particularly sturdy at higher extensions. And it’s really heavy as a step ladder. It’s the only ladder I have (and I have 2 of them) but I wish I had something else most of the time

Sure, if I was using an extension ladder on a daily, or even weekly basis then I would want a good quality extension. But for the occasional job around the house it's just so darn convenient. Likewise having it fold up so short you can throw it in the bed of your truck and not have to tie it down and hang a flag off the back and all that fun stuff...

Buy it, and if you don't like it you can always return it...

Also curious to know
I dont have time to type out the skus but I'll post a few photos below of some of the vanities on clearance at two stores near me. One store was 50% off the marked clearance price, the other was "make a reasonable offer" per the employee I spoke with, sounded like they were wanting to pretty much give away the old displays, not much left though.

I have the next size down Werner and love it. I don’t use it daily though. It is a bit heavy for its size but to me it it feels solid at any length. We only have a one story, but I like that it’s long enough that I can climb up the ladder and just step onto the roof vs just being long enough to climb onto the roof.

Like Jason said, if you're looking to get a lot of use out of it as an extension, I'd go with a good quality extension. I have 2 aluminum Werner extensions: 24' and 40'. The 40' is only used a couple times a year, but the 24' I use all the time. I also have a 16' multi position, but it's the M1A model, not the MT, and I pretty much only use that as a stepladder when the 6' won't cut it.

My 24' is no problem in a short bed. Assuming a length of a little over 12' when not extended, I just brace the feet against the cab end of the bed, rest the ladder on the tailgate, and let the other 6' hang over. Tie it down and make sure to hang something bright on the end hanging out the back.

Vanity Reset is going on in NE Philly aswell!
Been to 2 Lowes in NJ and one in NE Philadelphia and the philly location was the only one selling them off. Not a great selection though, but I'm sure they will be adding the others in the coming days.
