I needed this like I needed another hole in my head. But, hey, this is Garage Journal so, look at the new hole in my head. I guess I should also post this in the "what GJ costs" thread. Thanks to bczygan for posting the HD deal.

Another Knipex tool! This time not a brief case full. Just the one. I got this for about half off! These are the high leverage design; you can see how close the cutting edge is to the hinge. :)

I'm already stashing away money for the new Milwaukee releases. I need a jigsaw, so the M18 Fuel barrel style will be at the top of my list.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I already listed my impact driver and drill for sale I need to put my jigsaw up as well. Then I went feel as guilty buying the new drill and impact, and upgrading the jigsaw. I have the M12 and it's probably one of my most disappointing Milwaukee tools

So awesome! How much did you pick that up for if you dont mind me asking? Im in the market...sort of, depending on price

I think I stole it. $2000 On Ebay they sell for between $7 and $10k, the three axis ones sell for even more. I am sure once I start learning how to use this, I will want to buy a 3 axis one.

The UPS driver delivered a box from Amazon. Along with other stuff for my wife, I got my Sunex 1818 1/4" drive, magnetic impact socket set and my Bluetooth OBDII scanner. And the dog was excited to get a stuffed toy.

Some more Snap On goodies. Techangle in orange and some metric wrenches. The double box wrenches are neat with the 15 degree offset.

New Dewalt 18v xr brushless 125mm cordless, new model big improvement on the old one
20180508_201501.jpg

I want this. Bad. It's definitely on my shortlist.

The 18V threw me for a sec though. Then I noticed you are in Ireland and figure EU reg's must deprive you of that extra 2V of pure marketing hype power on your side of the pond.

Ah yes the lost 2v, that's the good old EU BS regulation.
There also seems to be low profile head version of this out now too which would suit fabricators in tight areas.

Picked up the $299 version of the small 1/2" impact. Gonna buy the tool only big one when I find it in store. The $199 version was nowhere around.

I finally achieved my goal to have enough grinders for every damn type of whatever. Now I can just grab one and make sparks without having to change whatever. :)

And this one off came with a metal bed base. When I saw it wrapped up in its packaging yesterday I thought great, something else to round file. But I'll be damned, it's actually a decent little one dimension rat. It works really nice, it's almost a shame it only fits a 4mm socket head.
