Took me over half an hour to pick up a couple orders at Sears today due to some weird computer glitch, but at least I won a $5 game while I waited. :)

I read a lot of reviews a while back about the gasbuddy card and people getting illegitimate withdrawals from their bank account from it... Decided the juice was not worth the squeeze so I passed...

I do use gas buddy to see what prices are around town. I usually fill up at Sam's Club as its the cheapest, but sometimes one of the Murphy's will be cheaper. Since most of the stations are walmart around here they are all the same price and change at pretty much the same time.

No luck on the big games today, but I just won $1.35 in one of the little games! (One of the rare higher prizes.) :)

I understand these are random chances, but am curious if there is a better time taking these games to increase the chance of winning? Have not win the big games in the past several weeks and have not winning the small ones either. I have had days when I only won $.40 :confused:

I usually took all of the small ones in the evening. Does everyone take it at certain time of the day? Or maybe do some in the AM, then the rest in the evening? I have had drought in winning points before but this time seems very long... or they figured that I took too many free points from them

I think the recent drought is more from them not doing a ban spree in a while, I know my wins dramatically picked up after they got rid of those people with 37 accounts.

I usually do a small amount of the little games sporadically throughout the day, and most of them in the evening/night while watching TV. Despite playing in similar timeframes most days, my total wins from the little games fluctuate a lot. I've had several days in the past week or so with a disappointing less than $1 total from doing allll the little games. But then some days it'll be $2+, or anywhere in between.

I think there's too many other people playing, and too many games (which, based on the stats displayed in Xtra the past couple months, many participants are not bothering to play all of), and Sears could have more or less win times generated in timeframes when they expect more or less players... too many confounding factors... for it to be very worthwhile to worry about the timing on these. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I've occasionally tried playing some then, and still mostly lost. Either too many other people decided to play at 4am or whatever to try to 'beat the crowd', or Sears adjusted the odds accordingly. :)

I prefer to play early in the morning because the game response times are quick, and my total wins have been relatively consistent.

It does seem like when my points total gets high (over $30), the wins seem to decrease a bit.

I got some freecash, so I went to the local KMart & bought these Craftsman titanium drill bits, 29 pieces, $16 after the freecash, including the drill index. COO is People's Republic of China. Plus, I bought some needed items like socks & etc, and two belts, to make a 'spend $50, get $25 in store credit' so I'm gonna be able to use that as-soon as it hits my SYW account, supposed to be 24 hrs.

And that wasn't just an accident, apparently... the time was officially changed in the rules for that game.

Sooo... SCHEDULE CHANGE. Next Sunday I'll be posting "2:25-3:35pm CT $4 WW Xtra" instead of "2-3pm CT". (Maybe they'll change it right back, dunno.)
