check the other stores 20~40 miles away.
Around me the prices varied a bunch; weirdly the amount of inventory on hand seems to have no impact on the price chosen.

I guess you all do realize that even though we get to reap benefits right now, this has to mean that by Spring, Lowes will have the same paltry selection of products as HD. No more hard to find stuff, only hot sellers. I'm not looking forward to it.

I think a lot of the tools are getting cleared out to make room for Craftsman.

I think a lot of the tools are getting cleared out to make room for Craftsman.

CEO said he wanted to get rid of 20% or so of the store skus, nothing to do with making room for Craftsman. Already saw a Craftsman toolbox part of the clearance markdowns.

Unfortunately, I've looked at all the stores within a reasonable driving distance (hour or slightly more) and they are either out of stock, or $60.

Fyi.. at my store now.. many of the clearance prices in store do not reflect what shows online.. higher price in store on some stuff

So the entire outdoor section (patio furniture, plants etc) on the inside of my store is a dedicated clearance area.

Irwin clamps priced at 30 but rang up 7.50... drill bit set I posted was 13 on clearance but they matched what was on their website.

Looks like I'm going to have to break down and go there today... I really want to get a pack or two of those Irwin clamps, can never have enough of those. Also saw that battery powered stapler in stock...

That Chamberlain garage door opener is still $87... Would be a nice upgrade... still on the fence about buying that...

Fyi not everything is in the clearance area. Saw many things in the regular area marked full price but I know are on clearance (adjustable wrenches, stubby wrenches which I didn't get, no size 12, the clamps etc)

This is 100% true. The chop saw I posted was in store only. Online showed 0 in stock for the store I took the picture at.

Absolutely agree. The Weber grills were full price online and sold quickly in store for half off. Waiting for them to mark down the chamberlains which are still marked full price in store.

Grabbed one garage door opener and compressor. Still one of each at 40475.

Good luck! Also, the dude working there stated the massive clearances are from items they no longer stock and they're in the process of cleaning house; whatever that means....

That generator was an awesome deal, but somebody (we know your name) beat me to the punch! Grats if you're a GJ user! I'll be there closing time on the 7th to claim it

I would be all over that Skilsaw if discounted locally.

Interesting bit: the acrtual reg price is 99 not the 59 shown on the tag. Those around me are still at 99

The sidewinder is an OK skilsaw if you are a diy or homeowner...

I am so bummed I missed the hitachi compressor! I had two in my cart online (the closest store carrying was 45 mins. And they got bought.

The next closest at that price is 2.5 hours one way....
