Chamberlain smart garage hub, $25 (regular $100):

This thing turns any garage door into a "smart" garage door, allowing you to open/close your garage door remotely with your phone. You only need one unit for multiple garage doors. My store has dozens in stock. Some people are saying this thing is finicky, others say it works great. There is an updated version that is not on sale:

While I've managed to score a few things *only because of this thread* the process is very frustrating because apparently my local stores are not "participating" in this the way other area's stores are.
By that I mean that there are the usual yellow clearance stickers on the usual items showing the usual 5, 10, 15% off, but the deep-discounted items in this new "Mega Sale" (forgive me. I don't know what to call it) are NOT marked in my local stores save for maybe half a dozen items. The buys that I've made have been either
1.)because the item showed the mega price in the app and I bought it through the app for store pickup OR
2.)I went to the store using info from this thread, found the item (reg price, app shows reg price) but I got a store person to scan and the 'secret' price was revealed. (only on some items)

In other words, it's a Stealth clearance event locally and the employees don't even know it's going on...
It's very frustrating.

Frustrating, yes, but many of these deals will only be obtainable because of the fact that employees and casual shoppers don't know the items are 75% off or more.

If you see that your store has stock, I highly suggest picking it up in-store yourself instead of ordering online for 2 reasons: first, staff is lazy and if the item isn't exactly where it is supposed to be (and it often is not), they will just cancel your order. Second, if the price is really good, they can cancel your order and purchase themselves.

I think some of it has to do with the employees & management at the store... This is crazy how many items are being marked down and prices changing daily... Some stores are really trying to keep up, others are saying F*ck it and not messing with the price tags...

Not to mention too I've seen employees trying to get Fall & Halloween setup... Too much going on at once...


Just found this:

Note: This has a weed preventer, it won't kill existing weeds. Do a little reading on it so you know what to expect and also what grass it is compatible with.

Just looked at their website:

Apply to newly seeded, overseeded or newly planted Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, centipedegrass as well as fine and spreading creeping red fescues.

Do not apply to St. Augustinegrass, bentgrass, bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, dicondra, kikuyugrass, bahiagrass or lippia.

Various AFCI & GFCI breakers (I noticed Eaton & Square D just by glancing) are 45% off!!! Not only are these stupid expensive to begin with, they are required by code for most areas... If you need some, now would be the time to look and see if they are discounted....

There are also some Eaton 200A, 125A, and 100A breaker panels 50% off...

Saw some timers on sale 75% off... Several utilitech brands, didn't care to screenshot them all...

Interesting they discounted the z-wave one...

Thanks. Put an order in for a little farther away. Hopefully it isn't as thin as the reviews say, as its the perfect size for all our garden tools. Though it won't be a problem getting rid of in my state, as many are looking for a 'pot'ting shed. :lol_hitti

I have one. We use our phones as remotes 100% of the time. I've never had the door fail to respond, but occasionally it will report the door in the opposite position it's in. Then it'll be reversed for the next couple of cycles.

I'd say it's 90% reliable when you have that "did I shut the garage door?" Paranoia.

The box says 600A Peak, 300A Cranking. With winter coming up, for $20 it's too cheap NOT to have in your car!

Check the website, maybe some other models might be on clearance in other areas of the country... I missed them the first time because they aren't in the same category as the regular battery chargers.

I noticed that the antenna wire was on sale 75% off but when I tried to buy online the price charged is full price.
I’ll have to call them or go by there...
<< EDIT: I learned why; My store showed qty 1 but I ordered 2. The system selected inventory from another store (where it was full price) and used the higher price for both.
I called the store, talked with electrical dept guy, he explained so all was good. I hung up, re-placed the order for *one* and it went as it should.
Then it got better!
Five minutes later a girl called to say my order was ready, Then she added that the guy from electrical that I had spoken with, had found a second spool and brought it to her so she put my name on it with the other items. This is proper service, doing it right!>>

The PC speaker seems to get good reviews, if you have that battery pack for your tools might be a nice addition...
