Does anyone else keep a spreadsheet listing how much product they've been receiving from Sears, versus their OOP total, through the SYW / WinIt programs / Sears coupons?

I've got 3 columns: value of the product (lowest internet price, not the nonsense Sears full price), what I paid OOP, and how much I cleared for the few items I decided to sell rather than keep.

I just keep a running total of points spent and oop spent.

I set up a spreadsheet a couple years ago, but it didn't take long before I felt it was too much hassle to update and abandoned it.

Guess I have to stop using SYW for a year to get an offer sweet as that.

thanks, and can you play every day?
The official rules of each game tell you how many entries are allowed, but most Xtra game have daily plays.

Wild Wins Wednesday is available only on Wednesdays of course, and for football season they currently have a FANtasy Friday game. Both in the Xtra section.

I have three credit cards, one is the one I have had the longest which is good for my credit score, one has points rewards for Canadian Tire money redeemable at their store, and last one is points at the local supermarket.

Close to paying off the last one as I don’t care about the points due to wife buys all the groceries. It’s getting cancelled and I am working towards lowering the interest rates on both of the remaining cards.

It didn't look like there was a minimum purchase price. The weird thing is I looked in my email history and that offer has popped up every week for the last month or so. It always expires that day. Guess I'll check again next week and see if I get lucky again.

Same as @Doohickey. I had a spreadsheet but quickly becoming a hassle. I know in 2017, I spent less than $100 OOP. The big chunk of it is from buying a set of XL racheting double box wrench that I needed for working with my car. I also needed a few other stuffs so I can not just wait leisurely until I have enough points to buy.

This year, I am getting better at figuring out what I need ahead of time, so less OOP. Also credit for getting lots of ideas from everyone here on what is worth buying. I do keep a running tally of how much OOP I spent.

I also had given 2 or 3 knipex pliers (brand new) to different friends who had helped me with different things. I know they won't take money because they were just helping me out. I of course replaced those pliers asap

It has been a great ride :bounce: I am going to miss Sears when it closes its door.

A one-day-only offer popping up repeatedly like that sounds like the things they give automatically when you browse high-dollar departments on Sears.com (e.g. lawn, appliances). The fact that it only works in that category, and usually a several-hundred-dollar minimum purchase, doesn't always display properly everywhere.

I won the $3 game this afternoon. :)

I keep track of my purchases in a simple text file, haven't gone to a full spreadsheet. I started the file in summer 2017, and haven't reconstructed my previous purchases for it. At first, it was just a list of future purchase ideas - URL, target sale price, and full price. As I've bought things, I move them to a bought-list section, with the price I 'paid' (mostly with points/offers/coupons; I haven't been tracking OOP amounts) and the date bought.

Just FYI, if you want to see your upcoming points and when points expire, look at your account history at shopyourway.com and set the time period to 2018. I have several offers that I will be receiving points through mid-next year, hope Sears stays around! If not, I have more than made enough money back to justify my purchases.

Looks like I will be making my next purchase on Oct 6. Let's see, what should I get for around $125 ($0 OOP!)

yeah, i didnt make a spreadsheet or text doc for my purchases (probably should have) but do have one for when my points will be added. i plan to buy those 4 ton jacks on 9/30 when i get my next $25 (hopefully with the weekly sweeps freecash to boot), then who-knows-what with my $68.** that hits me on 10/15-16. trying to save my current $21.** (year expiry) for the 11/15 points, then holding on for the first BF deal i see. ive decided to not hold onto my points very long--you never know when this ship will finally meet that iceberg

Hey so for those of you that have issues getting your cellphone to play the winit games properly, you can use a program called BlueStacks that is a android emulator for your desktop. You can then install Winit via the playstore.

So I've been thinking about the timing of spins. There was a day a few weeks back where Sweeps was down for a few hours. When it finally was fixed, everybody was winning like crazy. The theory I heard was that wins are scheduled to happen throughout the day, so when the site was down for four hours, there were a lot of "wins" that needed to happen to get back on schedule.

I usually do the ten in-app bonus spins first thing in the morning. But many people may do that. Has anyone had more success waiting until late in the day? This would be more useful today, when wins are worth $1.

I've had good luck or bad luck at all times of the day. I think the most important thing is to play when it's convenient for you, getting through more of the games than you'd feel like keeping up with if you were doing it at an inconvenient time. Occasionally I've tried in the middle of the night if I was awake anyway, and had plenty of losses then too; I think they probably do scale back the number of randomly-selected win intervals at less-busy times.

Placed an order yesterday afternoon for few dollars over $75 after points and FreeCash were applied. Got confirmation on the order confirmation that the $75 in points back was applied.

This morning I got email stating 2 of my items were out of stock and they were canceling that part of the order. Canceled items were for about $41 of the Oder and were for in store pickup, rest of order was to be shipped. (Yesterday the Sears website claimed the canceled items were not available for shipping; today they can be shipped).

I called the Sears number on the cancellation email and advised the Sears rep that if their cancellation was going to eliminate the $75 in points back I wanted to cancel the entire order. After a very long time on hold while the phone rep checked on the status of that, I was told that after the remaining items in my order were delivered if I called SYW they would manually put the points in my account.

Should I believe this?

I would have chatted so you have actual proof they said that. From my experience with chatting, they should do what they say they will. My last order went to a different city, as the rep combined through city from a store pickup with my street address. I chatted and they saw it didn't match where it was supposed to go, and I instantly had all the points back in my account. That was ~$45 in points from a screw up, so don't think you should have problems getting them to honor the offer.

Chances are they will give you the points all at once as well, with a 1yr expiration. I would almost prefer they screw up so I can get the points like that, not that they will likely be around then

I do not know and someone who has done this can probably give an advice, but this is one reason (and I have said this before) I like chatting online (I never call them).

I then get the chat text emailed to me. If there is a problem in the future. I can copy-paste what I was told, and they can not deny it. The text also has name and time stamped for good measure...

Good luck, hope you got this sorted out...

I have also recently seen someone on SD say they had to call or chat to get points added manually when shipped items as part of a $75-back order didn't all ship at the same time, which is apparently another way to break the promo programming.
