I'm liking the theme!!!! I pass your area often heading from Austin down to Houston to meet up with friends we made in Lubbock. Lived in Tech Terrace a few blocks from campus and every now and then I still think about moving back out there for a while. (Especially during allergy season here in Austin).

Oh sweet man! When did you get out? It's been 15 years for me and I've only been back a couple times. My best friend (who also went there) lives in Boulder now and drove home for Christmas and spent an entire day just checking out all the mods made to the campus---wow have things changed!

Speaking of areas though, I have logged many many hours in your neck of the woods. My grandparents have lived in Lago for 30 years right by the 9th green on the Highlands course I believe. That place has also changed a lot over the years! I learned how to play golf on that course...ahh the memories!

Left Lubbock about 7 years ago... I'm on the graduate when I retire plan and hope to eventually finish at the satellite campus in Marble Falls. Wife graduated in '02. Definitely lots of changes.

Here in Lago, I'm just a few blocks from your Grandparents. Small world across the internet these days...

Very small world! Go to the campus on Marble Falls, the route between Lago and there is friggin amazing, I used to take father in laws 911 all the time. in fact one of the owners sons of Horseshoe Bay totaled his Ford GT (yep, nice rig huh?) there a week after he got it for christmas several years ago...or at least that was the tale I heard. My in laws live in Horseshoe Bay and I have taken several spins by that campus, small but functional! Get it man, you will not regret it!

Come on guys, your missing the point of the thread...

As stated in my initial post please only post
ONE PICTURE... THAT IS YOUR FAVORITE!!!

No need to post 30 pics of your shop, start your own thread for that.

End rant.

I really don't like posting pics of my shop. It really makes a lot of guys jealous. I had a hard time deciding whether to get a 4 post lift or 2 post to put in my shop. Then, the T8 vs metal halide debate started. Do you think I have enough insulation to install a complete HVAC system? I was thinking about radiant floor install. I epoxied the floor, and I think it turned out ok. I don't think I'd use that brand again, however.

I picked up a slightly used OBDII reader.....I paid a lot of money for it, I really should store it inside....

Honestly, I don't like to make people feel badly about their little puny garages. I know they've worked hard for what they have and are doing the best they can. So I try not to show it off much.......

The first image is of the start of the new unattached garage/ toybox at the new house (last year).
The second is my long term projects shop behind my fab shop. It was my original building until we out grew it. Rented it out to a auto repair bunch, who stiffed me for three months rent but left behind a two post hoist and a four post when they tennis shoe'd off into the night never to be seen again:)

My 30 X 60 dream garage is completed on the outside but the economy downturn has put a serious retard on the fun money pile. I can only nit pic at projects now, but at least I have a nice clean & dry place to work.
