This is what I did. USPS is on the ball; The package arrived at the local PO this AM. It probably missed the reg carrier, but I think they also have package carriers this time of year? So it may make it today, certainly by Monday!

my package showed up sometime early this afternoon from Kansas! thanks Santa!

according to my victims tracking number their package showed up at their front door right around the same time!

on another note, I was reading elsewhere about people posting photos that had geo info or something attached to them allowing people to see where they were taken. and something about apps you can use to strip this information. I have a MacBook and want to upload my photo of gift by tree and then opened on Christmas but don't need my gps coordinates out there for the word to easily see. can anyone please recommend an app I could use to delete that info. thanks in advance and thanks to my Kansas Santa, can't wait to see what's in that box!

It is possible. The camera/phone records what is call exif data. Things like the time and date, camera settings, and if the camera has gps then it will record location. To remove that you can get a program that removes that exif data. Also some photo sharing sites like imgur remove that data when you upload an image there. Then just share that link here, or download the new image and upload it here.

Location is an easy tip if given. Mine came from the same town as another year's SS (but I am sure it's a different individual). So just from the label on the box I think I know who it's from. To be possibly confirmed on December 25th!
