Usually the "Was" price was the previous marked down price, not the original full price.

Wow you guys are harsh. Typically when I have looked up a hot deal at my local store, the was price on the hot deal matches what my store is selling it for, so I assumed that was the case with this saw. My apologizes.

Not every post has to be (or can be) a $1000 tool for $500. Also, I can’t afford to do that, even if it is a really good deal.
This is cheap and something I know I’ll need in the future, so no problem buying them and putting them into the parts organizer.

To be honest, most of us can afford MANY of the "piddly" items versus a $300-500 item that may be half off. Plus I don't have to explain a $1 purchase to my wife....while the $200+ items I have to try and come up with an excuse

I , too, have a cheapo Porter Cable that serves me well and I have wanted an upgrade for a long while. I went for the "sport of the hunt" and got the sale price. I posted merely to pass on to others how I did it. There may be some one who really needs this item and I'm pleased if I can help. Life is good![emoji4]

I really didn't need / want them. I live alone and wash my few dishes by hand each night. I have to swing by this weekend for some other stuff, I might look to see if I can find one *just because*...
If it was something I really wanted I would have done store pickup or gone there yesterday...

Saw these deals for the laundry and dish detergents early yesterday and shortly after I ordered from one of the local stores I got a call that somebody already had them in their cart. Sorry I didn’t post them, I got a few negative comments last time I posted deals on brooms and mops(not tool)
