Not the prettiest thing, but I am proud of it.
I have the Craftsman version. Rescued it from a garage sale on it's last day. I use it as my Go Box.

Looks like late '70s. Look on the back of the box in one of the bottom corners. You should find the manufacturing info stamped there. The year will be denoted in the last two digits.
That looks to be in damn good condition.
Here's mine:

back of box in the middle says
kr 537
snap on corp
kenosha wisc
USA 74
so does it mean it's a 1974 box?

I see the lockwire but where is the lockwrie pliers? I have this stuff and cant wait to get to use it on my next engine build.

You either aren't too proud, or someone stole your pic for a CL ad.

I will be cleaning this one up and repainting it. I am thinking of redoing the black parts black and the yellow parts a vintage brown
Are you planning on contacting Snap-On? Do you think you would ever sell it? Is there a museum nearby that you would be willing to display it in? Have a great day and thanks again. Donvery nice. Do the sockets on the rail have model numbers? The tools range from the mid 20s (most are 20s) thru what looks like 30s. maybe a couple of early 40s.
