At my local Lowe's, Brooklyn NY, there are some Craftsman truck boxes on steep discount.

I scored two black 7.1 cubic ft chests for $31.13 each

So now I get "access denied" when trying the lowes site. Reset my router, cable modem so I dont have a set ip etc, no scripts etc on my browser. So assume someone on comcast near me got their ip banned and lowes just blocks a range of IP's???

While you may not pay for a static IP, your IP doesn't always change upon a modem reset. I suppose if it was me wanting to test if it was my account, I'd go to a public place and see what happens.

I wasn't logged into a lowes account, just cant access the site at all. I can pull it up on my phone and office, it is just my home internet that is blocked.

That is usually an IP ban, changing your IP should fix it.

Very rarely but I have had prices matched after I talked to the manager and showed him proof from other Lowe’s locations the price I wanted to be matched.

BTW! Just ask any Lowe’s employee on the floor and they will give you 5% off just for asking.

Got mine today - bait and switch!

The photo shows "made in Italy" - so obviously made by Freud and high quality.

Received a 50T blade "made in China"

Talked to my Lowe's manager yesterday about this drill press. She says Lowe's will price match "current stock" items between stores and "non stock" items between stores, but not match between the two.

In the case of the two zip codes above, they are trying to get rid of remaining stock and do not plan to carry that press at their locations anymore (non stock). However my Lowe's will continue to stock that press (current stock), so they wouldn't offer the price match.

If you have the store number of the store with the good deal they can look up the current stock/non stock of the item number in question.

This has probably been discussed before. If so, sorry for wasting your time.

This has been my experience as well. If the matching store has it also marked as non-stock, it usually means they are more willing to match, as they know it is going away and the other store is ahead on the markdown. If they are still stocking it, you have little chance of a match.
