Capri 11850-7MRK Super Thin Metric Open Ended Wrench Set

Bought this for a bunch of applications. Two off the top of my head are caliper slides (sometimes the sleeve spins and I can't get a regular wrench in there) and die grinder collets.

These are awesome, especially for the price.

I liked the Bondhus 2x ball end hex keys so much doing an intake I decided to keep an eye on the metric set as well. It dropped $2 so into the cart it went along with a Fisch brad point drill set. The forstner set I got worked out so well I figured I'd get some brad points for smaller holes. I ought to be set on drill bits for a good while now.

My metric set arrived today. They’re really nice. I had a really cheap set that is very thin. I can’t wait to use the new set.

Armstrong long pattern 5/8 ratcheting with reverse lever. Note factory defect . I think the defect gives it character.

Not $14.95 worth of character :wtf: But at least you like it and that's what counts. It's just like you can't tell someone their baby is ugly.

Those are great ratcheting wrenches though, I miss the Armstrong proswing ratcheting wrenches. :(

Snap on second generation orange handle screwdriver set.
Some nice. Some beat to heck.
Ratcheting screwdriver is in brand new condition.
Stubby ratcheting screwdriver is very smooth and nice.

Snap on ignition wrench set is super sweet.

New crimper is for spark plug wires.a0ac9fe0979e01ea0ba6e4b84d5e2676.jpga5e787fd6805076e2cad3fcf1df7cdc3.jpg

Must be discontinued. HD has the 1/2" on clearance. Didn't look for the other sizes.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-...a9Wi_lN50d_6YQawF_kaAgx8EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Still listed on the Dewalt website

https://www.dewalt.com/products/hand-tools/mechanics-tools-accessories/ratchets/round-head-ratchets

It might have something to do with "Made in Italy" I don't think the Italians get in a hurry to make anything. One time I waited 23 weeks for a Cinelli bicycle frame. Some Ducati parts are 4-6 MONTH wait time....

Thoughts on this tool cart? I offered someone $125 and looked it up online it retails from Homak at $1100 plus. For $125 is it a super good deal?

Did he take the offer? For under 250 that cart would be a killer deal if everything works and just needs a proper cleaning. I kept looking at that exact one but ended up getting a cornwell cart mainly due to the color and that my cornwell dude will warranty stuff should anything need it.

Yes he is taking my $125 offer. He said if I bought it last night he will take $125. I PayPal Ed him the money to hold it. Picking it up today.

He said its brand new he's only had it less than a year.

Which do you like more, the Snap On or Knipex? I was looking at both and trying to decide. I would get a model without a cutter since I don’t care about that and I feel the cutter makes it so the tips don’t close as well sometimes since they need to make sure the cutter touches first every time.

Dude that’s awesome! He was asking like 400 originally right? But yeah, for 125, you basically stole that thing lol. You’ll have to post some pictures when you get it and your thoughts as well, I was struggling to find decent reviews on the homak carts. But congrats man, that should be an awesome box. :)

I wouldn’t have responded to a lowball offer like that. Any offers at less than half what I’m asking aren’t entertained. I guess the guy must be desperate.

It's crazy I usually don't make offers like that. But on this one I went lower with my offer, not expecting to even get a response at all. I usually do and just said will you take $125? Then I waited 30 minutes before he responded. I didn't even really care about it. Sometimes the less you try the easier something is.

Yeah lol I had been keeping my eye on it but I figure if I’m gonna spend the money I’ll get something I really want, but for 125 I would have drug that thing home on foot haha. Yeah post some pics up when you get it all cleaned up.

If it makes you feel better, he does list items on here priced at what would be considered a low ball offer. I missed his deal on the m12 3/8th stubby and ended up buying another for significantly more. And I get low ballers too on everything I sell, it is annoying but it’s simple to say no or just ignore them, but every so often I’ll say yes depending on the person or situation. Nothing wrong with trying to get a good deal. And sometimes you can help improve someone’s life who would otherwise not be able to afford that and that’s worth something for sure. :)

Well here it is, after getting it this afternoon I brought it home and started cleaning it. Got the heat gun out and took off about 10 stickers, simple green and paint thinner for the sticker residue. Lastly got out the buffer and compound and buffed the lid, lots of scratches. Overall NOT AS CLEAN as I was hoping. One drawer slide is busted, I need a new one. Also the lock needs work, doesn't work well. Overall not big deals.

Capri 11850-7MRK Super Thin Metric Open Ended Wrench Set

Bought this for a bunch of applications. Two off the top of my head are caliper slides (sometimes the sleeve spins and I can't get a regular wrench in there) and die grinder collets.

Thanks for sharing! I made the purchase based on your post as I can use them for the suspension end links on sway bars, they need a thin wrench. Much appreciate you sharing this information :)

The Round head design reminds me of the FACOM made in France ratchets. Also USAG, they are all Stanley now, have been for a few years.
