Not sure if anyone here is an SYW MasterCard holder or not but they just emailed me a rather lucrative offer.

The offer is, for Gas, Grocery & Restaurant, of $500 or more per month, you will get 15% statement credit back each month.

Also I was told they will start from 10/1 and go until 12/31, so being that I wasn't offered the deal to activate until 10/25, the agent claims they will still count my Oct purchases even though I just activated it today.

Gas & Food is basically the entirety of my card, so this offer is really nice.

Yeah, different people don't all receive the same offers, but I have heard they send out a lot of nice offers on that card once you've had it for several months.

Going on almost 2 years here so far.

They gave me the $150/$1500 90-day deal which was pretty nice.

So far the only other thing they did give me was $399+ purchases get 1-year deferred interest.

I might transfer it though as I don't really like how it's not a 0% interest promo but one of those if you don't pay every cent back before the expiration, you get hit with the entire year's interest.

So far on Monday I have won zilch. Even burned 4 out of 10 WL plays so far with nothing. (And on top of that, F&F prices went up, misleading Sears marketing strikes again.)

Someone on SD noticed this today... the odds continue getting worse and worse...

" I just noticed some of the hourly bonus and Xtra games had the prizes reduced even more. The $1 Xtra right now only has 100 winners for a total prize pool of $100. That's the lowest I have ever seen for any $1 - $5 game.

The same game just over a year ago (and all the $1 - $5 games) had a $5000 prize pool so it's 50 times more difficult to win this game than it used to. "

I bought an item at Walmart.com and it counts as 1% points on my card.

Yet I returned it to a local store and my local store (considered a grocery store by the card) shows as the returning store, so it takes 3% back of points even though it only gave me 1% originally.....

Chat fixed it even though I don't really think they had a clue what I was talking about.....

I think that would be Citi's fault primarily, though they all have a role in that. Which chat fixed it for you? I recall last time you had to communicate with Citi it didn't go well.

Sears Chat fixed it as I figured try it as my PS was gone for the day.

I doubted they would be able to do anything but figured try anyway as Sears seems to have made many employees multiple roles where maybe Chat could have the ability.

Chat at first said they can't see orders done by the card even though it links to SYW but decided to just go ahead and give me the points back it wasn't to take away.

One nice thing though was, I had a tiny bit of points expiring tomorrow as I wait for a one last dump of credit card points tomorrow (usually happens after PS leaves ), but the mix-up took them away, so now I don't have to even do the cancel trick.

Funny enough, they were going to order tomorrow, so they would have missed the opportunity to throw on an extra $5 item to their order at least, as they are ordering household non-FC-usable stuff.

I finally got all my card points today (5:45PM CST or so, PS already gone) and was trying to figure out the best items to get, so I could get at least one last Blowout order before it all ends.

I debated one order but needed $0.59 so was about to go with a slightly modified order until I realized a previous item just lowered by $0.69 so had Chat do a PP.

I received that email too, and yeah, since I had already gotten the first one, the banner did not give me a second FC. Thought there might've been a chance since I already spent the first one, but no such luck.

Funny thing is, they sent this new email at around 2:30am CT, but the rest of the email before the banner is all about the F&F sale that ended hours ago.

Similar fun here. I was trying to get possibly one last order in of the Hot Buy stuff before the Blowout ends as I had to use my card again so will have some more points soon.

But frustratingly, the 2 $2 cat foods that I tend to use lately for a nice filler to make the order $10 for PS has both randomly disappeared this morning.

There is luckily a few other fillers still left but it's going to make the order at least 40 cents more.

I doubt it's Citi's fault as I have one of their cards and they have excellent CS, but the SYW MasterCard seems very confusing to talk to online or on the phone.

I read the T&C for the two deals they are offering folks that I mentioned a few days ago, but the two statement credit offers would both be effective in the month of Nov.

I am trying to find out if Citi will just take whichever credit is larger of the two and ignore the other deal or if they'd actually give you two statement credits if you technically satisfy both offers.

Even if you get an 'answer', you probably can't trust it. They seem to have no idea how their system works most of the time. If I were you, I'd assume you will only receive the larger of the two offers when making your purchase decisions, and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised by the second offer working too.
