Many thanks to my secret santa. The adjustable wrench with integrated hammer will be put to the test. The flashlight will be carried daily, as my mini maglight quit 2 weeks ago and hasn't been replaced yet.

Omitted from the pic is a bucket boss tool caddy, which my 2 year old daughter has taken to use as her new dolls blanket.

Thanks also for the local Arizona items...those are actually my favorite since they give the gift sort of a person feeling.

I'd like to say how much I enjoyed being part of the secret santa. It was my first time and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Thanks SS! Once family is over I need to investigate what your screen name is. Lowe's gift card not pictured. Seems like an awesome and wholesome dude, stay safe out there.

Many thanks to BenW who was my SS. I got a box of cool stuff that included micrfiber, 3" roloc sanding discs, candy, tender home made jerky (unsure what animal) and a stick light. I have actually been looking for a light about that size.

Thank-you to my Secret Santa, who teaches in North Carolina. It included a 3-d printed engine to hold usb drives and memory cards, a pair of little Gerber knives, a Craftsman brake spoon, some local coasters, and stickers. The engine will be on my desk with 6 drives and a few cards yet today!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all.
Thank you to my secret santa, Lassen Forge.
My pup will love the snow man. I can’t wait to read cover to cover the MAD magazine. Didn’t know it was still in print. The bubbly is on ice and of all those stickers, I only have one repeat. Plenty of space on the sticker door for those. Coffee? Who doesn’t love coffee? And yes that is a CLEAN shop rag poking out over Santa’s head.
Thank you

Thanks very much to CalebT for the awesome gifts including a SnapOn screwdriver, Matco 3/8" flex ratchet (from his own toolbox!), a tiny Thorsen 1/4" drive ratchet, a Gerber knife, DeWalt tape measure, zip ties, IR 3RANT3 Tapper drill- I don't even know what this tool's use is! He also sent some local favorites including Salamida marinade, maple syrup from a friend's farm, New England coffee, and Hershey's chocolate bar. The Christmas ornament that was made by his wife is beautiful.

Once again I am blown away by the generosity and thoughtfulness of my GJSS!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all!

My SS was Kaane and he really knocked it out of the park! I was tickled pink when I saw the SK screwdriver set. I don't own any SK tools, so I'm really happy to add these to the collection. He also included a Snap-on slip joint pliers in green. This is my first green handled Snap-on tool and I love them. He finished off the gift with a Snap-on green handled pick set.

Thank you so much Kaane!

Package shipped today. Hoping my victim enjoys the gifts. :)

Deer Sir! (Pun intended)

You are a legend and I am humbled to receive your gifts.

My fellow GJer provided a much needed break between opening gifts and now playing tech support for the rest of the day hooking up all of my kids loot.

I received an awesome Milwaukee hole saw kit, didn’t have and am excited to now own, some vintage craftsman screw gauges another very useful item.

Also received a bottle of tequila, two small bottles of moonshine and a bottle of wing sauce.

A+ my friend, thanks for the awesome letter too.

Love this forum the most down to earth bunch of folks. Merry Christmas!

My Secret Santa hit a home run.

I had never heard of GRYPMAT until now but they will definitely get used in the shop.

Also included was a charging outlet with various configurations and an Echo DOT.

He also included a stack of vintage Popular Science from 1959 thru 1967 that my son and I have been sitting here browsing through. I have a soft spot for old magazines and print as does my son so these will get some viewing time. On our way to the hospital to visit with the in-laws and will taking a few of them with me.

5ebbece810002c968fc1bf714a88c111.jpg

Thank you very much Chris, I love everything.

Although my SS signed his name to the card, I have no idea what is username on the forum is.

Pack out radio was not part of secret Santa. Tape is awesome, was actually working with a friend a few weeks ago and he had one. I commented to him how much easier it was to read. Ratchet will be nice for cold days. The wrench is a metric adjustable, but wait there’s more just flip it over for sae lol. Consumables are always good. Don’t know who it was but thank you.

Thanks secret santa! I'm always looking for new BBQ sauce to try! Can't wait to give these a try on the next grilling/bbq! Also I can use this thermometer on my next smoking since I got a nice big pork tenderloin on reserve!

I also got a big pack beef sticks and I had it in my fridge since I got the package. Needless to say it was really good as I was looking at the package yesterday and realized I'm down to my last 7 pieces! Lol

Again thanks secret Santa! I didn't find any info on who my santa was so I hope he/she reads this!

OMG!!! My SS, techieman33, KILLED IT!!! (Photos to come)

Yesterday my daughter opened the Amazon box to figure out if it was part of my GJSS gift, it was so she taped it back up (she had no idea what it was...)

So today I opened it first, Amazon apparently had lost the original package so he had it shipped direct, its a pair of GearWrench adjustable plier racks. Eric must really BE Santa because he somehow saw into my toolbox drawers at my mess of pliers (note to self, beef up toolbox security...)

The next box of goodies had a new Mitutoyo 202-101E 0"-1" .001" micrometer!! My micrometer is some chinesium piece with surface rust that came with my lathe, it'll sit next to my Mitutoyo 505-626-50 dial caliper.

Next was one of the brightest, coolest flashlights I have ever seen.

Armytek_Wizard_PRO_Magnet_USB_main-280x280.jpg

I actually wished I would have had it yesterday as I was crawling around in the rafters of a rather large assembly building on our local AFB tracing down chilled water lines while everyone had the day off and most of the lighting was turned off.

2300 lumens from something the size of a large Chapstick? Has a clip on the side (gotta worry about FOD in an assembly building, 18650 Li-Ion battery, the base is magnetic as is the USB charger and comes with a headband and a couple spare o-rings because, of course, its waterproof to 10m and weighs 65 grams while being impact resistant from 10m all in a 108mm x 29mm compact design. It has 11 modes that I still have to figure out and remembers the last mode you used. When I first turned it on I accidentally burned out the retinas of my family members, thankfully they got to see their gifts as I was the last to open, I'll keep you up to date on whether or not they recover....

AND THEN THERE WAS THE PM!!!!

The 3rd part of my gift was a gift card to BlipShift.com (I had never heard of it) which has these sweet T-shirt designs that rotate out everyday, as well as some stickers, patches and wall art (in lieu of the new Ford vs Ferrari movie, I've got my eye on the cool Gulf Ford GT poster, but I'll be scanning the t-shirts carefully.)

I'm really over the moon, thank you so much Eric!!! And Merry Christmas to all.

Post office couldn't tear it up the deck is straight:thumbup: Thanks again and Merry Christmas, to you, yours and all. Happy Boxing Day to friends across the pond. Happy New Year and be safe. Cheers  Mike

Thank you and Merry Christmas to my GJSS RStewart!

I love the vintage, made in USA tools and local license plates! I do go through some sawzall blades and can always find use for an extra utility knife. I especially like the handwritten note and really cool old GJSS heirloom book. It will be tough to decide whether or not to include it in my future GJSS gifts. Thank you again for all the thoughtful gifts!

Wishing all the GJSS participants a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!20191225_112445.jpg

Thank you secret Santa! No joke about a week ago I was saying I need to pickup a dremel and boom, air die grinder setup, AKA dremel! The timing couldn’t be more perfect. The side cutters are crazy good timing too, the ones I have in my junkyard bag are so dull they can’t cut water 😂 The ratchet will go to junkyard bag too. And I’m digging the Carhartt hat too. Great stuff Santa!

A huge thank you to my SS! .unsure of the screen name, but thank you so much Nicholas! What a great gift! I'm currently in wearing the hat, and I love the American flag on it. I love flashlights and this headlamp is a NICE one! Can't wait to try the delicious looking jalepeno beef jerky. (I'm still currently stuffed from brunch). I'll have a million uses for the utility knife, and I love the wood inserts. I can't wait to try the chemical guys carwash soap this summer! Even a pack of extra batteries! Thank you for a very generous gift and a merry Christmas to you!!

Mr. Roboto -- Wishing you a Merry Christmas. :) Thank you for the Dewalt bit & drill bit sets. They were much needed to replace worn out sets. I've put them to use already today. Also, the digital tire gauge will really come in handy as the older pen style gauges are getting harder to read. LOL

Thanks again.

Chris

My secret santa nailed it. A cool little Vessel ball screwdriver with interchangeable bits. A Knipex set with a set of small Cobras and a pliers wrench. I didn't have a small set of the cobras, and lost my little pliers wrench somewhere so this is great. Not sure what I'll do with a spindle nut socket, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it somewhere. And who doesn't like having some peanuts to snack on.

Many thanks to my Secret Santa, trackwelder!

Pic to follow on Saturday, as I’m out of town; I couldn’t wait to open the other night. Proto adjustable, brand spanking new BluePoint die grinder, and my absolute favorite, an M1950 stove made by Coleman in 1951! Trackwelder really hit it out of the park for me, and I’m thankful for his thoughtfulness.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you very much Lakelandcat.
Will put everything to use. I also just got a new Fluke meter and can use those wipes right away. Some really cool autographed pictures that I can put in my garage.

Happy Holidays.

This year was awesome, I may have to step up my game a bit...

First off my secret Santa either did a bunch of research on me.....or I have a stalker (just kidding)

First time I have had someone do a sort of gift wrap and include a Christmas card.

The stuff I got will all go to good use in the shop, except one thing....that will have to wait for home.

I call this the before, during, and after work Christmas gift.

Put the work gloves on before starting work, these are great and I go through gloves in my shop because of the metal work I do.

There are things that will be used during work like the indicator and the marking pencils that are always in short supply.

And then after work I can clean up, treat my hands and go for the whisky. I do love my small batch whiskey

Thank you so much
Great gifts
