Been accumulating hardware for adding a cradle-mounted winch and front hitch to my Suburban. I did a bunch of heavy electrical cabling work a couple years ago, a bunch of power mods, with the heavy cabling thru the vehicle intended to facilitate front and rear bumper plugs for the winch.

Have a CURT front hitch inbound. Need to get about 16' of 1/0 welding cable to complete the power extensions to the bumpers, using Anderson Powerpole SB175 plugs.

My aunt with my wife to a function and her vehicle needed some attention... I changed the oil in it, changed the air filter, rotated the tires, found a nail in a tire and plugged that and then went for a ride. TPMS light still didn't go off, so I checked the sensors and found she has a bad sensor. I went ahead and gave it a good wash and hit it with a sealant because it needed some attention.

I sent her the link to order one. Once she gets it changed, I'll program the new one to her vehicle.

I took the cowl off but you can’t get to anything. The passenger side has a strip of sheet metal there
This one has ac so the accumulator is in the way

You have to cut some metal.

I will look for the write up on it and get it to you.

Apparently it’s the most common cause of moisture / water on the passenger side floor.

with this nice new one

It’ll outlast the rest of the truck.

I last fired up my pony back Mid January. Mid 40 F temps today so I finished Bedliner spraying the front chin spoiler and took my pony out of her stall to test out the new rotors and make sure the brakes work...all is good.

Replaced the front bumper shroud on my daughters 2005 Jeep Liberty, post fender bender from a previous snow storm. Also replaced her wipers and a blown fuse and burnt out plate bulb. She should be good to go for a few more weeks/months for her ride back to school.

Did more arranging, aka stuffed E30 in back corner and then put my project E36 so I could install an engine next month. Putting a S52 back in vs doing the S54 which will be shelved for this year.

I now have adequate space to put my DD and my JD 318 with 47 snowblower on it. That's nearly as big as my DD.

^ Ambenz-are you planning on coming to Hamilton Ohio, this season ?

Just asking ?

Hmmmm, you have saw me at that show but I am at a loss who you are?
Ben, that is usually a real hot show out on the high school blacktop so it is always iffy for me. My wife works the show as a Croftgate dealer and sometimes I'll tag along.
So I will have to think about it....what are you showing at the show?

Nothing super exciting today. Working on trying to get all my tools/accessories organized. Bought some of the Milwaukee "pack out" small parts organizers along with a new Milwaukee tool bag.

I did quite a bit.

I have a Polaris ATV that snapped the throttle cable. Took it all apart, and ordered parts for it. Changed the oil in the Volvo and Jeep. Hung some signs up that a buddy of mine gave me, and got the mustang out of the house garage and moved to the shop so I can start working on it.

Why is there so much space in your garage?

I must be doing something wrong lol.

HotShot, I got bad news for you. If you have a leak on the passenger side of a Cherokee, you most likely have a leaking heater core. Its a b$%^& of a job and you have to tear the whole dash apart for it from the inside. No guarantees, because this is internet diagnosis from little to no info, but if your're leaking there, any XJ guy will warn you about the heater core leak.

Yep, that's another of the more common causes that I came across as I was googling.

I'd say for now, do some reading (tons of threads on Jeep forums about the water/moisture issue). If you still need the write up I mentioned I can send it, but it may not be your issue.

Let me know and good luck .... I have that same issue to resolve on a 99, but will wait until it warms up a little.

Hey guys
Thanks for the replies
It’s not the heater core
When I had the cowl off I poured water down in it
It started seeping in the floorboard
The carpet was still in at that time (just had it pulled back a little)
The carpet is out now
Haven’t had time to do the water thing with carpet out
Probably will tomorrow
I wasn’t crazy about the guy pouring silicone
Wouldn’t that stop up a drain hole
The thing is I don’t know where the drain hole is
Didn’t see any hoses underneath
I’m open to any suggestions

CJ I’ll definitely read the write-up if you can send it
I’m looking for an easy way to do this if there is one
Been reading some on the jeep forums about the leaks
I also have a bad vibration in the front end
Trying to track that down
All u-joints feel nice and tight
Front end is out of alignment
Tires are wearing funny
That started after the small lift was put on
3” in front. 2” in rear

I pulled an 8' fluorescent fixture and replaced it with LEDs. I've been buying one every week when I go into town to do the shopping and figured I had enough to justify pulling the old fixture. In addition to the two over the workbench in the back corner there is now one over the bench under the window at the back and one over the bench in front of the double windows on the right. I think now one more to replace the fixture in the foreground, one more for the RAS just out of the shot on the left and I should be good. The round fixture with the LED A19 over my toolbox should be good as is.
Oh and before anyone asks
Menards Smart Electrician® 3600 Lumens 46 x 3 Integrated LED Shop Light
I picked this one because someone in the HF thread with an install that sounded similar to mine said the 5000 lumen was just too bright so I figured for $15 a pop 3600 lumens should do the job.

SD, you might consider sealing th gap where the cable goes into the motor with RTV, and coating the exposed terminals on the solenoids with maybe battery post coating.

I’ll get it off of my computer once I get back home. Traveling for a few days but I will get it to you. Probably by the weekend as I’m home for a day or two.
