I broke my old vacuum pump a while ago and my uncle just gave me another, he's still sitting on a mountain of old industrial equipment from decommissioning a few capacitor manufacturing plants that I'm hoping to barter for. This is NOS and was sitting on a shelf for quite a while just in case.

I needed a new drop hitch so I picked up this Curt and a new 2” ball, so I needed this stuff to tighten the 1-7/8” nut. Nothing fancy, but they’ll get the job done.

2000 Lumen Snap On underhood light. Got to put it to use immediately! Love the stout connector for the charging cable. I guess they're putting stickers over the lens to keep techs from blinding each other on the truck? lol

Misc snap on stuff. Mostly needed the hammer for a wheel bearing job. The others are a medium 3 jaw oil filter wrench and small brake pad splitter.

NOS USA pliers at Ollies for $5.99 can’t beat that they also had tons of USA screwdrivers that I got too just don’t have a picture of them I got these yesterday after work I can’t wait to use them I love Craftsman USA stuff. We will see how these compare to the Channellock brand USA ones I’m sure they will be about the same.

My first bahco set! Pricey but these torx inserts will come in handy while working on my bmw's and the obstruction wrench will serve in place of a set. Very impressed with the quality, I will definitely order more bahco.aba571026e9803db36b710084053f224.jpg

Another Wera Kraftform Comfort because I can't pass them up when they are less than $4 each. This time a 3.5mm slotted x 125mm long.

I have needed a set of hose pliers for years. Earlier this week, I decided to buy a set and checked Craigslist first. There was a three pliers set for sale for $54.. I did my due-diligence and checked AMAZON. Amazon offered the same set for the same money, so I placed my order. Amazon dropped them off on my porch in under 48 hours.
I need these "ring" pliers to help remove the sparkplug leads on the right bank of the Flathead V8. The sparkplug leads are slightly under the Eaton M90 Supercharger.

Isb, I bought the cheap HF set this spring to pull spark plug wires off my '93 f150s 302 that had the original plugs in it. Some of the boots were really tight and I couldn't get a good grip on them because of the exhaust manifold. Pliers made it much easier.

Like new Fluke 112.
American made. The last of the US made generation.
Could not say no for $60.
Will be using it alongside my 87 III.

Facom tap/drill chart, made for me by an Etsy vendor.

I have had some of those tools in my basket for a while, just don't see much feedback from others on them. But I think I will pull the trigger, as they have been around for a while and I "assume" they are quality tools.

Does this count? Bought my dad’s 2016 Forester. He traded my 2012 towards a 2020.

I recently bought five Toptul AEEC-series double-ended swivel-socket spanners, or whatever you call these, to make a little set:

As with other Toptul stuff I have, they don’t seem to be quite as good as the very best of their type, but I’m pleased for the price.

I have 280 holes to drill in 1/4" plate, so I picked up a floor mount drill press... Nothing fancy, but miles ahead of my old bench top!!

Old tool, new to me - saw one of these here not too long ago, and the utility of the 1/4" in the handle is exactly what I've wished for in the past. Grabbed one on eBay. I've considered getting the 3/8" version, but it's harder to find and it seems like the (usually automotive) situations I've wanted/needed it were all in 1/4" applications. But nice to know it exists ;)
