My contact in Germany said that shipping times have recently gone from 3-4 weeks to 3 months with Deutsche Post. I would say that the current shipping is likely comparable to speed and price, so using Pizza’s order form would be the way to go.

yeah, there are only 2 modes possible, and their UI has evolved over time.
unchecking G&S is the same as selecting F&F.

update:
we are at 22 openers so far (incl iSpark).
Jens Putzier Tools has not yet returned my email, but i notice that i can only add 6 to my cart now. before, i could add 7. i optimistically assumed they were rationing them to 7 per order, and i'd be able to order in batches to get around it. but now, i think that they actually only have a handful (perhaps 6) of openers available.
unless JP responds and tells me otherwise, i guess i'm ordering directly from knipexfans.
this is good in a way because it's possible that it could be even cheaper. but i'll have to either enlist the help of a friend in germany or use a package forwarding service, and i don't know what the cost is going to be. i'm going to try emailing knipexfans and asking them for an estimate of the box weight and dimensions for an order of 20 openers. maybe i can then use that to shop around on package forwarders (and DHL's website) to see what shipping to the US could look like.
the unit price from knipexfans is $4 cheaper than JP, so unless shipping is a disaster, i see potential for savings.

haha. i checked, and you did everything right.
also, everything you submitted gets emailed to you automatically, so you can go in and check that your address or whatever is right if you start second guessing.
you can also click a link in said email to update your info if your shipping address changes. i'll do a "last call" before mailing out the openers to give people a chance to update their info.

we're at 32 openers so far.
JP responded. they have only a few right now but will re-stock in january.
no response from knipexfans yet about the package size and dimensions. i also sent them a followup question asking if they'd do a discount on 35 openers.
