Hi Jyzze!

That looks like a one solid Datsun. I had a -77 Datsun 100A and a -82 Datsun cherry. Great memories. Can't find those anymore without massive rust problems. Hows the interior in your Datsun?

They made a lot of great things in 1978:lol: Congratulations Jyzze:rocker:

Hi Jyzze!

I ordered a lot of parts from Rockauto for our -72 Mazda.

There is something for your Datsun too, like brake and clutch parts etc. You have to search by Nissan 1978 F10. That's a Datsun 120A in states I guess.

Here's a link:thumbup:

Rockauto Nissan F10

You just have to make sure that the parts fit.

Great project!

That's a nice Datsun! I also used to drive a Datsun Cherry a long time ago. That's a good thing there's no rust! One of the projects I sold was a very nice car, but with a lot of rust.

Hopefully you can just buy some parts, bolt them on and enjoy the car!

Loistavaa! Congrats! Seems nice and quiet with a lot of space. Are you going to use the red building as a garage, or build one somewhere in the future?

Nice to know you got the shop in the basement. Can you drive a car in it? For some of them, the slope is too steep, or the door too small for modern cars :)

Swimming pool turned garage, now that would be an interesting build!

Door in the basement is small so it's not that big space. Bigger then My shed so i'm very Happy at the moment..;) House has been build in 47, just after war. Pool is close to The House and property is top of The small hill, bedrock. If a can use pool foundation some how to the garage, i safe some space.. If not, i just build a deck to the pool.

Either way, garage or deck, it will have a good foundation.

Also, you can never have enough tools!

Inspection went fine, nothing special where we have to be worried about. House has been build in 47, so There is some things of course but like bathroom and sauna a like brand new. New, small kitchen in upstairts ect.. yes, two kitchen. Former owner has been in Airbnd business.. Be fore that f***** flu...
In The pic, that is shop area, red hatc and Windows is old external wall. But on 80's they build new basement, Masters bedroom... Still messy place.
Tool's! I made nice found from internetsale, Husky Ratchet set.. 30€ not Bad!

What a beautifull place!!! and nice garage organization.
I had to move from my garage in the countryside to my garage at home and I don't feel inspired to work on my car and bikes any longer...... Guess is time to make some changes.

That is awesome. Is it a full-auto then? Im actually surprised you are allowed to own those in Finland. Thx for sharing!

Also, good luck to your junior national hockey team in the Quarterfinals tomorrow! (You may not follow hockey though...)

Jyzze, just finished reading your thread - your new place looks awesome! I will keep an eye out for new updates.

I am part Finn, my father's parents were both Finnish, so I have grown up with and kept many Finnish traditions. I built a sauna (electric for convenience, but can still throw water on the rocks, Harvia heater), and use a vihta regularly! My wife (who is an honourary Finn) bakes Pulla often. I have not made it to Finland yet but it is on my bucket list - one day!
