My ANC armored nails require a grinder. Mine is a Melody-Suzy. It has just enough gumption to grind finger nails. It can't break skin. I try not to stick my fingers in the bench grinder.
Kay, I don't try to grind the sides of my fingers, it just happens. my BIG Grinders have a no glove rule, like a PTO shaft no loose clothing and all shaft guards in place and working. Usually happens when hand grinding lathe, drill bits, and mill bits by hand looking for a profile to match. Been that way since the 60's???? That's the way I was brought up. Damn Child Abuse

I started a new wood project.
A drawer system for an extremely space wasting cabinet in the camper
I'll be using my jointer for this project, so I pulled it out from it's hiding place.
It hasn't been out in many years.
It was embarrassingly in need of some attention.
No excuse to let it get to this point.

Removed the fence and blade guard, wet sanded with some 600 grit and WD-40.

It's getting better.
Cleaned, waxed and reassembled.

It's a lot better, but I need to remove both tables, clean and lube the ways.
For now, its set to remove .030" per pass.
The blades, at least, are still sharp and true.

How big is that TV screen ?
It's an 80" 🤓. It was the TV from my living room that got replaced with an 86" TV. I haven't insulated and drywalled the top yet. This was a mockup so I could run the smurf tube for power cables and pull measurements to put it all back once it's drywalled. I have my AppleTV hooked up to it so while I'm working on cars on my lift, tearing a motorcycle engine apart or whatever - I can access YouTube, etc. for instructions etc. Next up is to build the lower cabinet which will be covered with a stainless steel elevator door for the countertop. The door is a solid 250 lbs. The lower wall will be covered with magnetic stainless steel. Can hang stuff from it as well as use wet erase markers on it...... tempImage9AzeOC.jpg

Ms. Nadogail bought some African Violets and tasked me with putting drainage holes in the plastic pots they came in. My plan was to drill the pots; but after the Violets were moved to the shop, I realized my cordless drill is in the van.
I dug up a soldering iron that a neighbor who gave up on stained glass donated to me, after a few minutes of heating I made nice neat holes in her pots.
Actually the soldering iron was a better choice than the drill for the job.

Today I went out to the garage to take pictures of things I wanted to sell on marketplace. I took the pics and then realized I needed to keep these things. Then I spent some time putting those things to good use.

My husband wanted me to write down what is in every drawer of every tool box in our garage. We have 6 roll cabs with top/mid boxes, one solo roll cab and several single multi drawer boxes. 100 drawers. Why did he ask me to do this? Because I don't know where anything is and he is tired of always having to tell me. I will now have cheat sheets on all of the boxes.

Next I removed the front brake from hubby's new-to-him vintage french road bike and took it completely apart to polish and clean every piece. Put it back together and contemplated doing the rear....now I am in the house and will tear apart the dishwasher....

Just whipped out a support leg for the 3/4" oak veneer desk surface I made for my father last week. Were improvising a sort of desk and storage setup in a spare bedroom closet. Intending to build a much nicer desk next year.

Opened up all the abandoned cars and cleaned the cob webs out then located the Coolant Temperature Sensor on my 1994 Ford Econoline after talking to more Ford techs sounds like it could be the root of our problems so we will be replacing it and hope that fixes it. I don’t like being a parts swapper but we have tried everything besides that and the computer so that’s next. Also checked the oil in my Escape and looked everything over in there like I try to do every weekend.

Cleaned up the shop. Modified n hooked the jointer to the DC. Cut, planed, jointed, n glued up the next stair tread blank. Did my nails. Spot planed, rough sanded, and filled holes in the stair tread blank.

Added straps to my car cover. I started in the garage but ended up in the sewing room.
I attached buckles and then realized I needed some additional strap buckles. Searched for 2 hours for the ones that I knew I had. I was about to head out to the big box store. I thought I could mill them from delrin. Then noticed the 3D printer...
Downloaded a model and it's printing right now.

They finished. Not the prettiest but I am happy.

I painted a bit more of the interior blockwork wall with some bright white masony paint. I didn't take a piccy of it drying as it was as boring as well...:p

I/we are heading towards putting the wife's '20 Nissan up for the season; wash, top off the tank, oil/filt change, etc. Will be airing the tires up ~ 10 psi above recommended driving pressures (even tho she backs it out of the garage, maneuvers it a bit, and then pulls it back in as often as she can (weather permitting). Not sure if we'll be putting her 'breathable' car cover on it tho. Kinda undecided on doing so...

Finished rebuilding the front wheels on my wagon project. Bearings shouldn't pop out anymore and the extra Castor keeps them from wobbling.

We need it for the rest of soccer season, then I'll take them off and paint them.

Replaced the fuel pump in my '08 G37. They honestly make it such an easy job.

Replaced the lug nuts on my truck.

Replaced the kitchen light fixture with an LED panel light.

Closed the pool.

Cut the grass.

Started cleaning up my work bench for next weekend's project. Removing broken stud's in a Porsche manifold.

Healing and starting to focus nicely! I haven't had to use glasses since the surgery Tuesday, and that's without great focus on the left. losing the astigmatism from the left cataract really helped! Still a little way to go, but it's getting there!

Technically right at my garage door, but going to winter mode on my Jeep. Removed the lights and winch from my bumper. Later today will swap the bumper to the stock.

I got to try a bunch of my new ratchets.IMG_3593.jpegIMG_3594.jpeg
