Soooo, HD honored the 3x battery deal for me. I also added a few more to the toolbox. I may consider offloading some of my M12 gear now.
I had it in my cart, then got pulled into a meeting. When the meeting was over, it said out of stock. Shortly after than, they were back in stock but price jumped.Had you already ordered the 3 for $150 and had it cancelled? I waited too long, but if there's a way to still get that I'd be all over it.

I bought the blower last year hoping it would at least be good enough to blow dry my firebird after washing it. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is, I haven't sold my gasser yet, but I didn't even start it last year. I liked it so well I went back and bought the whacker and the polesaw attachment to go with it.I'm so confused... Did I just find an Easter Egg??? Or, an April Fools joke (on me)?
I saw this in the store, and was about to ask if this is a good price (vs. the bare tool with free battery later in this post).
When I looked up the SKU to figure out what's in the box after I got home, the website threw in a free HOXC6.0 battery (in addition to the HOXC8.0 in the box)! Was that supposed to happen? They don't have the HOXC6.0 batteries in the store, would have to order it online.
The price of $329 (ONLINE) includes the M18 Fuel Blower 2724-21, M18/M12 Rapid Charger, HOXC8.0 and HOXC6.0 batteries, and is supposed to save you 34%.
The price of $329 (IN STORE) appears to include the kit, but not the smaller battery (assuming that I didn't miss a sign).
Also, is that a hackable deal (order both, cancel smaller battery, and walk away with the kit for $217???
The other deal in the store is this combo:
M18 Fuel Blower 2724-20 (bare tool) and free XC5.0 battery, for $169. Supposed to save 47%. (Wasn't there a similar/better Black Friday deal like this in 2021?)
This almost sounds too good to be true?
Do any if you have (and like) this blower? Several online complaints about battery life, but almost none mention which battery (of the million M18 varieties) they'd used.

Do any if you have (and like) this blower?
Sorry missed the embedded question. That polesaw package I'd say is the better deal. Conservatively $80 for the 8.0 is a good deal. Cheapest I've seen the blower had is for around $100. The Polesaw package which is definitely worth $180. It is kind of unusual since before you had to buy the whacker and then get the separate pole saw package to get a decent deal. The only thing is I wish they made it more expensive and included a quick lok extension pole because you are going to need that. Thanks guys.
That WAS a deals post, with an embedded question: Which is the better deal?
I'm leaning towards the $329 kit, which comes with the extra 5.0 battery.
But then there's also this...

No extra battery, but for $369, comes with a pole saw, and is 35% off.
So, to review...
$169 Blower and HC5.0 Battery (47% off)
[$217 IF HACKABLE: $329 Blower, M12/M18 Rapid Charger, HO8.0 battery, (47% off)]
$329 Blower, M12/M18 Rapid Charger, HO8.0 and HO6.0 batteries (34% off)
$369 Blower, Pole Saw, M12/M18 Rapid Charger, HO8.0 Battery (35% off)
Which one is the best deal?
I have ZERO 8.0 batteries at the moment.
I don't "need" any of this, have multiple gas and electric versions of each. But no battery ones.
I used to have a B&D battery blower, loved it for clearing off the tractor after mowing, but all of those batteries are dead (which is why I've moved on to Milwaukee).
Thanks.
Mike
Agreed. What surprised me was how well-balanced, efficient, and downright useful that combination is. It really makes you forget it's battery....I wish they made it more expensive and included a quick lok extension pole because you are going to need that.

Well I guess I screwed up- I had a 10% off coupon at HD and used it to buy the PoleSaw kit (Tool Only) for $279 and then bought the XC8.0 battery and charger for $249 I think there was an online version combo kit that would have been less at $459 and included all the same parts. ( pole saw, power head, extension, strap and XC8.0 battery with the charger) Saving 10% means I only overpaid by $25 vs the "kit" price. I wonder if I could have gotten the 10% off the combo kit on line. Live and learn I guess.Sorry missed the embedded question. That polesaw package I'd say is the better deal. Patience definitely helps with these Milwaukee deals. The free blower would be pretty sweet. In the grand scheme of things if you got a speeding ticket going to Home Depot then you automatically lost more money.Well I guess I screwed up- I had a 10% off coupon at HD and used it to buy the PoleSaw kit (Tool Only) for $279 and then bought the XC8.0 battery and charger for $249 I think there was an online version combo kit that would have been less at $459 and included all the same parts. FWIW, I thought seriously about either the Dewalt Pole saw or the EGO pole saw as I have batteries for both of those, but after watching the Project Farm review of pole saws the Milwaukee seems like the better saw for what I plan to use it for.
you can buy it separately as well, so you don't have to keep the 5ah.I wanted a blower and saw this deal. I have a walk behind gas blower so I don’t need endless run time. More like blow off the deck, flowerbed, garage kind of tool.
So how much back do you get for the 5ah battery?you can buy it separately as well, so you don't have to keep the 5ah.
That looks like a pretty good deal I will have to check on that. The blower and glasses are $89 with the 5.0 battery hack
$40 off at Blains Farm and Fleet.
I don't "need" another battery but I don't mind having a couple extras when I throw stuff in a car to go help my dad. It might not be the newest and bestest battery but it will work while another is on the charger. It's still more than enough battery for me to leave on the tool to blow off the deck before friends come over. - We live in the woods so cleaning the deck is a daily occurance.you can buy it separately as well, so you don't have to keep the 5ah.
Got a link for that deal? The blower and glasses are $89 with the 5.0 battery hack
Got a link for that deal?
Here's a decent battery deal from HD...
I don't think these deals are hackable as they go into the cart as a single item vs two items that allow the split/hack.I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out the best plan...
The $369 pole saw / blower combo is very tempting. Comes with 8.0 battery.
Are all of those free / separate battery deals hackable? If so, the $329 blower kit (with 8.0 battery), with the free 5.0 battery would drop to $217, assuming I could cancel the 5.0 battery. (They limit you to one of these deals, BTW. I don't know if that's one per customer, or if/how they track that.)
Anyway, buying both sets, canceling the extra battery, and selling the extra blower and charger would get me a second 8.0 battery pretty cheaply.
I've never sold anything online, so I'd also need to figure that out...
HELP!!!
Mike
Perfect, thanks for talking me off the ledge. As I mentioned, I don't "need" any of this...
Where do you see the bare tool blower for $99? They're $169 at HD and Ace. Acme has reconditioned ones for $124.
Mike
Exactly. When dealing with Milwaukee deal pricing one should always break down into the last known deal/discounted price (excluding pricing and website mistakes). Takes some past experience of trying to unpack and break down these deals as some items tend to be more heavily discounted than others so the 30% or 35% off the top while it may be an ok deal it may also not be a great deal once you break it down. Milwaukee like other merchandisers are probably successfully baiting consumers with this packaging strategy. I don't feel so bad though because I am pretty sure they are still making a lot of money off of me.When bought with the 5ah battery, the individual price will come down. online or instore
I've had mine for a few years now. Got it when HD was selling them bare tool for $99 (after inflation price is now $169). Bought it to use with a gutter cleaning attachment kit but didn't work for me. Not the blowers fault, I tried a corded Toro blower first which was also a fail. Decided to keep the M18 blower, I use it quite often & I've been happy with it. There are other blowers that are said to be better like the Ego 350. But I'm fine with the M18 blower cause MW is what I use & don't want another battery platform.Do any if you have (and like) this blower? Several online complaints about battery life, but almost none mention which battery (of the million M18 varieties) they'd used.

You have 45 minutes to cancel. Better hurry.Looked like 2 items in my cart. The battery has to be shipped separately, but the blower kit is in the store.
