Anyone into a vintage literature thread? Could be magazines, advertising, brochures, etc.... I'll start it off with an Artzy Basheff illustration from 1953 for Lycoming. A precision metal and engine manufacturer

One of the things I always look for when out and about, are older books on technical subjects; woodworking, HVAC, Welding, etc. And I have found quite a few to add to my book collection. And it is a nice way to tie together two of my passions, working with my hands and working with my mind...

Good point. Advertising would probably make up a lot of the potential post, but I was also thinking it could be educational, photography, brochures, packages, manuals, magazines, posters, etc… Really anything with great graphics, illustrations or images printed on paper that’s not a book or metal sign since those already have their own threads. I think Mike Wolf would categorize what I’m thinking of as “vintage paper”

^ we sold Burgess batteries! I had one of their "head lamps" when "head lamps" were still powered with the big square 6-volt units!

A little bit of Fadex/Isetta trivia. After not selling well in the US, Fadex sold its remaining inventory of Isetta's to Chadwick Engineering Works where the Isetta's were converted into a fiberglass bodied golf cart

I have 2 seeders of that same design (one is for spares), last used Easter 1979 when i sowed a 13 acre field with grass and clover seed.
