Going to buy the same set today with the co

Icon long combination wrench set (10-19mm). I paid $72 + tax with a 20% off coupon.

I bought the ASD version of these for my dad, or me if I'm at my parents. I took these to the shop one day to try them out. Not bad at all, the open end is a little aggressive, but they should hold up for most applications. I just wish the set went from say 6 or 7mm up to 19, I think there are larger sizes available.

Snap-on Friday. The boot for my air hammer came in, and my dealer had a promo going on a few multimeters, so I traded my old Snap-on meter in for this EEDM525F that I've been eyeing for a while. Also caught a 14.4 battery on promo, can never have too many of these.

I've been scouting Craigslist for a long time and yesterday my number came up. Gently used Hypertherm Powermax 45xp. That makes it 3 for 3 in terms of finding used welding/cutting machines. I'm a hobby guy so I don't depend on my machines for a living and I will never have the urgency of needing a dealer repair to keep working so it made sense for me.

I opted not to buy that set because when I got there one of the workers had the 10mm wrench out and I did not like the feel of it.

Plus the limited sizes. I'm going to go with the Tekton 6-24mm set. I held those in a local store and they felt really good.

Nice meter. Just don’t think I could use it lol. Not good with technology… it would probably meet a hammer by the end of the day 😂. Wait a minute it’s not green either someone get some help! LOL.

A few recent arrivals:
Milwaukee 4 Piece Hose pick set: Can't have too many hose picks. I like that this set includes a flat tipped hose pick with rounded edges. Some flat hose picks resemble a bent screwdriver. Comfortable hard/soft handles. measure just under 10 inches overall.
Mayhew 2 piece mini pry bar set: As the name implies, it's a mini pry bar set not a pocket pry bar set since, there aren't any pocket clips  Made in the USA, flat square stock blades, approx 1/8 inch wide blades, straight one measures 5 7/8 inches long overall, bent tip comes in at roughly 5 3/4 overall. nice textured hard handle. the handle itself is 2.5 inches long. I think will they be handy.
Milwaukee compact 3/8 drive ratchet: Crisp 90 tooth action, nice chrome, measures just under 5 inches long overall.
Craftsman V Series Long flex head ratcheting wrench set: These are long wrenches with a six point fixed boxed end on one side and a 12 point, 72 tooth, ratcheting flex head boxed end on the other side. The 10 mm is 11.25 inches long overall and the 19 mm runs 15 9/16 overall. First impressions are that these are really nice wrenches. Excellent chrome, eye beam construction, large size markings on each end/both sides, comes with a USAG/FACOM type wrench holder, very comfortable. The downside to this set, and I think it's a huge screw up by whoever came up with the set, is that it skips 15 & 18 mm. You get 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, & 19 mm but, NO 15 or 18 mm :wtf:

So what all can that enhanced meter do? Big screen, and a replaceable fuse for passing current through the meter. It seems to have duplicate buttons compared to the dial selector?

Normally I use my gen1 modis for the huge screen, but the backlight and contrast are poor. Still a good tool for multi channel basic scope.

One of these days a dealer will cut me a steal on a up to date vantage. I very rarely have any interest in guided component test, but there can be some helpful connector location stuff in there. Plus I'd have a new unit with modern screen and batteries. That craigslist modis is still one of my best buys ever.

Honestly it’s the (very) large negative screen that sold me. I can leave the meter on the engine cover or my cart and read it from inside the vehicle easily. It’s also nice for dark under dash work, I don’t have to hit a button on the meter to see. The horizontal orientation with the lead storage around the unit is nice too.

I haven’t had the chance to really dig into it yet, but one thing I have noticed is that it’s significantly faster than my old Snap-on auto-ranging meter.

Need to replace the batteries in my Macbook Air and Macbook Pro.

Bought the Tekton Tech Rescue kit instead of just buying the two pentalobe screwdrivers needed. Because.... yeah.

And since I was on Tekton I went ahead and bought the bundle which included their 1/4" bit set and driver. Because... yeah.

I really like the spinning aluminum bit driver that comes with the tech rescue kit. I think this will be my go to driver for small jobs.

It’s the display that’s calling my name with this meter, super easy to read compared to my fluke. Is this the one with Bluetooth? If so useful for diagnosing trailer wiring, tail lights etc
