Redtoolstore $75 off $300 plus. Code SHOPMIL75. Just ordered dual battery 9 gallon shop vac at $299 plus a $2 inkzall and the code applied.

So Toolup also doing $75 off of $300, code: MIL75

In a quick look the 2 5.0 plus free tool is $219, HD is $199, but with the discount I guess you can come out ahead on some stuff.

Also $219 at redtoolstore

We will have to hunt and peck.

That time of year!

75 bucks off is a decent discount, gotta spend 300 though. That shop vac with the marker for filler was a pro move pbon. How long does this sale last? I have WAY too much work to do today to thumb through the red tools I want and min/max the discount.

I'm sooo mad at myself for not placing my order :tantrum2:. Ohiopowertool had a flash sale for 10% M12 or M18 tool kits or 20 % for 2 kits and I just wasn't sure if the table saw was something I absolutely needed RIGHT NOW. I thought I saw somewhere that it would be until this Friday but I guess that must be for the other deals. I really hope they or someone else has another like that for Black Friday or Cyber Monday

I added the starter kits/tool to cart along with filler, and code wont stack. Added 3 on sale cut-off tools, and didn't trigger. It did work with the new M18 hatchet with filler, as well as the new cooler, but the BMSM with $90 off is better for that. So may only apply to "regular" priced items unfortunately

Redtoolstore appears to have better filler options. than ToolUp. Like the pens at reasonable pricing.

I bet there is a ton of Black Friday deals this year. No retailer wants to get left behind in this economy.

For the past year and a half I've been thinking about getting an M12 rocket light so that I can actually get yard work done after work in the winter. Finally pulled the trigger on this sweet deal  Reason #1 why I almost never buy batteries by themselves

What I was buying was not on sale — $299 was the full 9 gallon vac price plus the inkzall to get to $301. Another poster reported that adding up sale items to break $300 dud not work. Code for redtoolstore is shopmil75 not mil75 like toolup. Other than that, I have no ideas. Maybe I got lucky and they started excluding certain items.

The $199 plus two 6AH is a fair deal, but there was one that was probably a mistake in a October at International Tool for the M12 rocket plus two 6AH for $119 or something like that. I ordered and it has not been cancelled yet.

What kind of performance are you guys seeing out of the air compressor with a 5.0 battery?

Compressor or inflator?

I used my new M18 inflator with a 3.0 (which may not have been 100% charged). It filled 4 truck tires (all were down a few PSI, except one that was down 8 PSI), and 4 car tires (all were very low, two were nearly flat). The battery had 2 lights still lit when I was done.

sale/promo items don't work. This would be something to use on a tool that doesn't go on promo otherwise, or unlikely to soon. Like the new sander, m18 hatchet, (overpriced) bristle or rubber brush attachments for Quik-Lok.

...or a M18 grease gun? I'll check that out...

Good call. Dang it, looks like it is on sale, as I was going to say use it as a filler. I grabbed this handy right angle attachment for the center spindle on my lawn tractor. I then later got a Flexzilla locking connector, which doesn't allow the adapter . Because only one hand is needed to operate the tool, the locking end isn't as necessary as it was on manual pumps, but it was at an unpassable price.

:oops: Wow - that definitely is a heck of a deal. Buy the 2x6ah + charger, get the rocket light free??? That's something - hope it goes through for you!

This was by far the best deal I had seen. Last time I got close to pulling the trigger was an open-box tool-only for $125 at my Local HD, but I didn't have an immediate need for it.

Please post in the addiction thread going forward for better responses.

Performance is ok with 5.0 for intermittent usage like topping off tires and beach balls. For continuous use would go for an 8.0 or higher IMHO.

FYI got mine for $250 from HD for a while back which is the cheapest I've seen them go for.

Yeah I still have mine on order too. Looks like it is 1 XC 6.0 and M12 Rocket for $105

Does Arrow even make a NM cable stapler?

Is there even any brand of NM collated staples which are not manufacturer specific but a standard used by multiple manufacturers?

I have the cable stapler and it’s awesome. Staples are reasonably priced and it works way better than the manual GB stapler I had and never used, pounding in NM staples by hand, etc. Would buy another in a heartbeat.
Arrow does have one but doesn't get much attention since they don't make cordless battery powered tools much. I also opted for the cordless stapler - I use the arrow one a lot for low-voltage applications.

Home Depot has the M18 inflator as a free tool when you buy the 2 5.0 batteries and charger starter pack. Return the batteries if you don't need them and the inflator is about $95 .

Ron

Just placed an order for this along with the HO 8.0 and 3.0 kit. I'll be returning the 5.0's and keeping the inflator. Contemplating also picking up the top off power supply that comes with a 5.0 for $149 not bad even if the XC5.0's are being replaced

The HO 8.0 and 3.0 kit is WAAAAY Overpriced - it should be no more than $150 dollars before tax

The HO 12Ah batteries should cost between $140-$170 dollars (after hack) - and not exceeding that

The 5.0Ah batteries should cost no more than $60 for one piece

Right now, the only batteries which are appropriately priced by Milwaukee are the CP 3.0 HO batteries - $50 for 1x $99 for 2x

6.0Ah HO Batteries should cost no more than $80 before tax

This season lackluster - I was at The Depot today deciding between the 3.0Ah Two-pack and 3.0/6.0Ah combo - the 3.0Ah Two pack was a no-brainer

Although I definitely need bigger batteries - especially 12.0 Ah - the only way I see myself getting a deal is to buy the Chopsaw/12.0Ah battery combo for $319 currently or $168 for the 12.0Ah battery after returning the chop saw at The Depot

Really miss the old prices from years past - but the market is going to crash so be it

I don't see prices dropping for Black Friday this year - especially the Two-Pack 3.0Ah batteries

Looking forward to clearance specials next year 🤣

The M12 HO batteries are useless for the M12 platform

I didn't couldn't discern any noticeable difference on the M12 Multi-tool or Cut-off wheel with a 2.5ah HO, though I am use to having a 6ah instead. Perhaps there is an occasion when the tool may not slow down as much, but everything I expect out of the lineup, works as expected with existing batteries.

25% off Milwaukee hand tools

Not true, the 2.5 HO are nice for ratchets and right angle impacts. It's helps maintain a slim profile while carrying the power of an 6.0. The only battery of the m12 platform I can't tell a differance in power is the 6.0 vs HO. All others the HO is noticeablly more powerful on tools like impacts. What all have you tried the HO stuff on?

Seems to have worked at Toolup!

Screenshot_20221117-163020_Chrome.jpg

$75 off $300 with the code, plus automatic free shipping (for orders over $150).

Basically got the Packout case for free.

Mike

BTW, I picked Toolup because they were listed as an official retailer on the Milwaukee site, complete with a link that took me there.

Unfortunately, in the order confirmation email, they gave me a link to track that doesn't work. And, the email says to use my email address and a password that I was apparently supposed to have created during the ordering process (at no time was I asked to do that, maybe because I used PayPal?).

So, I've emailed and asked them to keep me posted on when this will ship...

Man, now I'm really PO'd that I didn't buy more than the two sets (XC6.0 and CP3.0 combo for $91 per combo) when I found nine hiding in top stock in March 2021 (leftovers from a 2020 Black Friday special).

Wow. $91 was a superb deal
I mean even the 12.0Ah batteries could be found for as a low as $109 “back in the good old days”

I’ve tried it on the the drill driver with replaceable heads, die grinder, orbital sander, and multi tool. I agree that the slim profile makes it easier to handle, but the run times varied for the obvious amperage reasons, found no discernible difference in power

Run time seemed to be the same with my compact 3.0 m12 battery

Well they ended up not having it so they cancelled the order. So I just got the inflator for $95
I only wanted it for the 8.0, I don't really have a need for the 3.0 since the only equipment I have that use the M18 is the leaf blower and fuel quik-lok with pole saw attachment. Not sure that the 3.0 would last me very long. Maybe I'll just hold out until they launch they're new line of power tools.

I think the 5.0ah is the sweet spot, and fits any application. Heck I even tried it on their table saw for a few cuts and doesn’t bog down. The high output seems to only be advantageous in certain situations and one can potentially get away with using the 5.0Ah batteries.

I find the 3.0Ah very compact and easy on the hands, but for $99, the 5.0Ah batteries are the way to go if you are just starting out

Price wise both batteries are appropriately priced whereas the 8.0 and 12.0 are ridiculously overpriced. The 6.0 can be found on eBay through reputable sellers

Buy 2 packs. They also have 10" PO tote $10 cheaper than HD for $52, M12 Cut off tool is $6x as well ($99 elsewhere) to get over $99
I'd go for the cut off tool but then I'd need bigger M12 batteries so the worm hole gets deeper. lol
