I have some spare 1/4” drive Wayne sockets and a spare spinner if you want them. I don’t collect Wayne tools.

Heck no. Especially when it's full of tools and the spots where the crinkle finish has been worn off the inside won't be as noticeable! There's not much paint left on the outside of this box, but that doesn't mean it's garbage.
(I have thrown boxes I find in the wild away. When they truly are too far gone with cancerous rust. Sometimes before I come home. But I would never leave the badge behind!)
I have not. But I have seen it done before. Typically, on only very hard to find boxes. We've all seen old boxes with old repairs, I'm sure, in their user days. I have used JB Weld in places to save a box.Wait, you don't weld in patch panels??
Looks like a torque wrench head. What’s the small head in the upper left of this pic?
Why wouldn’t you collect Wayne stuff? Those are the best ones.I have some spare 1/4” drive Wayne sockets and a spare spinner if you want them. I don’t collect Wayne tools.

The early, wartime, and immediate postwar stuff seems to be clearly favored here, but I have noted that people outside of the GJ vintage board tend to hold Wayne era stuff in higher regard. I always leave it behind in the wild without a second thought, but lately I've been wondering if I should start grabbing it to flip. Those are the best ones.
If you had an ebay store of reasonable priced wayne stuff you would have a lot of my money lol.The early, wartime, and immediate postwar stuff seems to be clearly favored here, but I have noted that people outside of the GJ vintage board tend to hold Wayne era stuff in higher regard. Thanks for the pictures. Looks postwar. I also have some in that condition cleaned up and put in sets. If you plan to throw it away, please consider throwing it my way.
