I have a 10-50r outlet in my garage. Cheap Mig welder is a 6-50r, can I buy an adapter or do I need to wire in a separate 6-50r outlet?

Fixed a broken truss I found when replacing the garage door. Some other garage work. Cleared some floor space by putting an air compressor in the attic.

Re: What about those pocket sized jumper boxes? They work and will start a car even with a dead battery or no battery at all. The leads get very hot! I don't think they are built to hold up. Wait for the next generation of them.
