Looks to me like it's made in the USA. In the first link you can see USA stamped underneath matco. If you look on matco's site you can almost make out USA stamped in the same location. https://kbtools.org/product/matco-bd206pb/...

I've got a cheap set a work that are basically new because I never use them.

If I could only keep one, I'd probably go with the Knipex due to the textured handles.
