    I would agree, thank goodness. I thought it was just stuck in the top when I bought it, knowing it was tapered. Then when I got it home and it wouldn't budge I removed the jaw and looked from underneeth, and my new vise high instantly went away. I'll get it out tonight. Have to work on truck...
