Flatscreen Install Amazon is a dangerous place. Things can show up on your doorstep the next day! I ordered a wall mount, borrowed the neighbors roto-hammer, and within an hour we have TV.

Water management A very competent concrete man came out and cut the driveway, installed a trough drain running the full width of the opening. The approach was improved, and no more water sneaking under the door. Trim work still to finish, and a better way to store the hose.

The door is an Anderson product installed by Cressy Door, located in the Seattle area. I highly recommend them! Their price was great, and their installation guy really did a first class job on a challenging job site.

    Alfa Romeo Double-Wide Condo Garage

Greetings fellow Alfisti! I too house one Alfa in my garage. I would love to have the ceiling height! Are you adding a two post lift? Here's my space in progress: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=263357

Fireguy, the only addition to the house was the glass and aluminum door. Everything else was already constructed. Welding on the body is taking place off site, and NEVER buy a cheap fire extinguisher!

The door is anodized aluminum with glass panels. It illuminates really cool at night from outside! I will get you some pictures of the lights in question. Here's a night shot of the door:

Kevin, your offer is selfless but flawed. Car belongs to Dad, so not mine to give away. Garage is mine. More updates soon.

Further along the build, most of the walls are painted out, and compressor installed. Wheel dollies under car are a lifesaver. I can move the car on my own with little effort. Highly recommend them. Flying A sign from a family farm, once used to cover a well! Now on proper display.

DOOR INSTALLATION DAY COMPLETE! View from the inside with the new door in place. Still painting and shuffling stuff around as I go. I threw out a ton of stuff in the process. It's amazing how much **** we hold onto thinking it might be useful someday. Still a lot of priming and painting to go.

Water management is an issue. The house is very well drained, but the bottom of that driveway only has a small circular drain. There is an additional drain in the carport (the original outside drain) in front of the one car door. Plans for a full width drain in front of the space are in...

Further along with the painting, as well as power. A 50 amp sub panel was brought in the garage, providing power for a 220v heater and compressor. The original garage door shown closed while painting. Lighting recessed between joists in the carport section, surface lighting in the original...

Work began by emptying as much as I could into the attached basement room aka MAN CAVE. This enabled us to begin painting and lighting the space. Amazing what a little white paint does for a dark space. I highly recommend anyone thinking of rolling on primer and paint to concrete to rent or...
