    Air Compressor Wiring Help

3 wire. 2 hots and a ground. Single phase 230V motors don't take a neutral. You should have the panel replaced with a new panel and a proper earth ground. You can run ground to the neutral bar in the old panel since neutral/ground is shared. In lieu of this, you can drive ground rods and...

Harbor freight changing store hours.. To support family time.

Not an endorser, but a realist. You are correct. The Chinese are some of the greediest, ethically bankrupt people by culture on earth. They disrespect intellectual property, copyrights, the environment, and their own people. I get it. But when your big box retailer / major builder customer...

Harbor freight changing store hours.. To support family time.

The Chinese can build anything to any quality spec. They could easily build a tool that equals / betters Snap-On, Matco, etc. In the manufacturing industry I'm in, the Chinese buy the same German machinery, run the same software, and have the same know-how. They don't decide on quality, the...

Replace Compressor or Install New System

^ This ^ I had (2) replacement Bryant 3 ton 16 SEER heat pumps (with new air handlers) installed last year. $5800 ea. $400 for an A/C tech to spend 4 hours to braze, charge, and test a DIY install. Not sure what planet you'd find this on? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Duplex plug with gfi

It will be hard to tell if all the outlets are on an isolated neutral back to the box. If not, no go.

Purchasing/Transporting Used Scissors Lift 2 Hours Away

It looks like it's had a fair amount of use in 2 years. The guy's shop is a pig sty. You would think someone selling something would clean up and make the product presentable in pictures? I wouldn't give more than $1000. Frankly, I'd buy new.

    Hilti made in China

^ This ^ The Chinese will build anything, to any quality spec that the outsourcing company is willing to pay for. That's the key. Apple vs Harbor Freight is a good example. My company outsources 20% of its supply chain (building materials - wood finishing) for high volume, entry level...

    Concrete Work Alone

Yes, it's crazy to attempt solo. Suggest you find some local temp help that can assist you. Suggest 2-3 guys. Even if you have to pay a couple of hundred dollars, it will be worth it. Not an area to cheap out in.
