Hello all, I have a quick question regarding fiberglass batts in my post frame building. The posts are about 6 ft apart and ceiling is 12 ft. with 7 inch depth. It wasn't constructed with bookshelf purlins/braces so I was wondering if anyone had ideas for keeping fiberglass batts from sagging...

I am looking for a few ideas on how to fasten 1/4" Aluminum checker plate to the steel superlite I-beams that my car hauler frame is made from. Any ideas, cool, slick,easy functional or a combination of all.

Thanks, I couldn't quite tell, they didn't look like 16' which is common around here. I would have needed a variance to go taller and was concerned with heating/cooling all the extra airspace since only about a 1/4 of the area would have a second level. Nice shop, like all the GM cars and trucks...

How tall is your ceiling? I just built with a 12' ceiling and would like to build some type of mezzanine.

Thanks for all the input, I'm going to ponder my options and talk to my concrete finisher for some more input. Probably wait until spring if I'm looking to save money screwing it up won't accompish that will it.

If it can't be done with out being sure the ground is thawed and I'm not compromising the pad I won't do it. There is equipment and people who do ground thaw for concrete pours but to hire or rent equipment obviously won't save me anything. I was just throwing the question out there in case...
