    ******* lift question

Here's how I did mine: Since I had to cut a "hole" in the ceiling anyway, because my ceiling is 11' 10" and the posts are 12' 1", I rigged a chain block in the trusses and lifted it into position. Dave

    hoist installed

I plan on modifying it to drop it down to a serviceable height.

    hoist installed

Since my ceiling height is only 11' 10" and the lift stands 12' 1" it was necessary to build a tunnel up between 2 trusses to accommodate the height. Dave

    hoist installed

Well it took quite a while, but I finally have my hoist installed. Bringing it home on the trailer. Unloading it. Setting it up. Assembling it. First lift today! I'm sooooo happy!:D Dave

"If I ever build another shop I'm going to......."

When I built my 30 x 30 shop, about 1 1/2 years ago, I installed infloor radiant heat. That was the best move I ever made. It is so sweet to have warm floors in the winter!:) Dave

Thanks. Actually the pickup has been waiting patiently for me to finish the shop, so I can get back to it. Dave

    Finally taking shape!

After almost 2 years my new shop is finally taking shape. Today I finished the interior wall covering. Please excuse the mess. I've been shifting things around to make room to work on the walls. The next step is to layout and install a hoist and then we're off to the races.:3gears: Dave

Jim, This is the same lift that I am planning on buying in the next couple of months! Did you purchase the rolling jack with yours? If so how do you like it? Dave
