A buddy of mine is moving, and he has this "work bench" (I think it's actually some kind of table designed for restaurant/kitchen use) that he didn't want to take with him to his new house. He offered it to me for free, so I decided to take it and see if I could make it work.
This was my old...
I repainted the finished wall. It's "white" at the top (not nearly as bright as I thought it would be) with silver at the bottom, and an orange stripe in the middle......
I still need to coat the floor (I've decided on gray) but everything else is satisfactory for the time being...
Welcome! I'm just west of Columbus (Hilliard).
Whereabouts in NW Ohio are you from? My wife has family in Luckey, Bowling Green, Perrysburg, and Grand Rapids. We're up there quite a bit.
Ehh, maybe. I guess gray might hide dirt better than tan. Either way, it needs coated with something. It's painted gray right now but it's worn off in a lot of spots. I would get the stuff with the flakes in it...
Welcome from Ohio!
I'll keep an eye out for your garage thread if you decide to make one. Those of us with small garages need all the ideas/help we can get
Well, I got tired of the clutter......
So I hung some OSB and disassembled some free pallets I picked up. Here's how it's looking now....
There's still a lot of things I want to change, but this is a big step in the right direction.
I just ordered an LED overhead shop light and a retractable cord reel. I'm also thinking about getting one of those portable work benches, but I'm not sure how much I would actually use it...
There's enough room (barely) to walk around the car.....
Enough room in front.....
My bench. Notice the 80's Pioneer radio.....
The TV flipped back to the patio.....
