It comes with plastic rim protectors. As long as you clamp the outside of the rim, not the inside. It's probably about 3ft wide with the bead breaker fully extended. If you are a full time tire shop, this is not for you. But, if you, like me changing 20-50 wheels a year - the price will pay...

This is all new to me. I was looking on Alibaba for a tire changer and found this one. It was my first purchase on Temu. They said it was shipped, didn't really give me any tracking details. Just showed up 3 days later. They did reach out and ask if I needed a lift gate. Didn't charge me extra.
