Man I haven't used a manual grease gun in years. I have an air powered and cordless one. But greasing equipment and semi trucks is usually somewhere in the 100+ fitting range.
I am aware of the missing sockets in the HF sets that come with the standard sets most buy with the ratchet. I bought the set of 10 sockets for each size STD/MM. And funny you say Grey Pneumatic. I have had a 1/2" and 3/8" drive deep impact set from them for 8 years and ill be damned if they...
Also as far as the 12pt sockets go. I keep a full 3/8" drive set in the box because some of the engines I work on have 12pt heads on the bolts. I also keep a full set of 6pt.
Thanks every one. I ended up getting the HF pro line socket sets from 1/4" to 1/2" short and deep well. I know some will say they wont last but I look at tools of this type like this. Yes they are cheap and maybe they wont last 50 years or what ever but they will take all day every day shop...
I went with the HF Pittsburg Pro fully polished sd/mm normal and stubby sets. I did this for two reasons. One, I absolutely HATE any wrench that has a raised edge on it at all. And two, they had a decent sale going on at the time.
I have the FUEL M18 3/8" impact and 1/2" impact, and the FUEL M12 3/8" and 1/4" ratchets. LOVE them. like so much sometimes I wonder why I have air impacts...
I am in need of a complete 3/8" and 1/2" drive socket set. Including short and deep well sockets. something with the most complete range of sizes.
