Trenching to a depth of 48" for water lines

Haven't the time right now to read all replies but have spent 50 years in the water well and pump business and the one thing not addressed is you will need a large man-sized hole at the casing so you can get to the casing, drill the hole and install the pitless. After that a small trench should...

    Vintage switchblade repair?

One thing to consider. While these are legal to own in many states, the feds restrict interstate transport. Unless the law has been amended it is a federal crime to mail or transport across state lines.

    Well water stink

I grew up in the country, and we had a sulfur well also. After taking a shower it smelled like the dog did his outdoors business in the bathroom. To make matters worse, my father was a well driller and he made 9 attempts to get past the sulfur water. One well was over 1500' and still nasty.

    Another what is it

Got this in the wrong sub forum. Will re-post here. A K-D mystery tool. According to PCustoms it is an ignition point alignment tool. I have installed a small bucket full of ignition points and never knew they needed alignment or how to accomplish said task.

    Show Your Vintage Knife

Often mistaken for letter openers, these little daggers have full hilts to prevent hand slippage during trusting and both edges are sharpened. These were known as "ladies of the evening " daggers, to put it in a family friendly context.

If you have ever seen an oil rig drilling two miles deep, I can and have operated such machinery. However, can't for the life of me figure out how to post link, type with more than one finger, or get an email on my phone. Just learned how to post pictures. By next century I should know how to...

    Baby Snapon Vise

I have a Winton baby bullet attached to one of my work benches. Of a half dozen vises I have mounted, the baby bullet gets far more use weekly.
