Some couplers are easier to connect under pressure than others are. Try a few different ones and see what you think. Otherwise, you could install a 3 way valve to dump the line pressure before you connect. Seems like a waste of air and time though considering some couplers might get you...

Good find, thanks for sharing. After having strap hooks come loose a few times I really prefer the hook with a gate or spring clip on. If these straps that hooks like that it would be perfect.
