Late to this conversation, but I'm looking for guidance concerning a flaked floor vs. a solid color because of the "dropped scew" issue. But seeing the hardware on top of the samples makes me think it wouldn't be as much of a problem as I imagined, especially on the Ash flake. I prefer flaked...
