    Tool Truck Etiquette

My father had mostly one brand of tools from his wrenching days. Still works on stuff at home. We never had a problem with a warranty claim. We would walk up and get stuff swapped out. Sometimes they seemed a little agitated, but can't blame them. Joe shmo comes up, costs you money until you get...

    Snap-on ratchet upgrades and mods

I like it! Good option! I could be wrong but I highly doubt there's a direct fit. I have a friend who is a machinist. If you're dead set serious about this, I could ask him the approximate cost to make something of the sort... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why no automotive love for industrial brands ? (Proto, Wright, Williams etc.)

While a lot of these tools are great tools (proto, facom, etc) they're simply harder to warranty. Yes, not everything breaks every day. I get that. But when a customer is waiting on a vehicle, and you're trying to break something lose/get it done quickly, you're likely to abuse something...

    Suggestion for tire pressure gauge

I like Milton as well. Best tire equipment (tread depth gauges, pressure gauges) IMHO. My dad wasn't happy when I sold my 1970 vw with his Milton gauge left inside.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Expert screwdrivers and torx drivers, porter cable 4 1/2" corded grinder, Jobsmart 5" pneumatic grinder and a radiator flush kit. It's chincy but it was 99 cents Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Angle grinder suggestions

Here's what I ended up getting today. It's a porter cable 4 1/2, model pce829. 7 amp if you can't read the huge numbers on the box. Picked it up at tractor supply for 30 bucks, originally listed as 60 dollars. The top is a Jobsmart (tractor supply house brand) air grinder. It was ten bucks and...

    Snap-on ratchet upgrades and mods

Anything can be done with time and money. The "proper" way to do this, I feel, would be to cut gears to fit the old head versus hacking up the ratchet. But what do I know, opinions are like... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
