It's actually the left side pedal that is left hand threaded...if either left or right pedal isn't installed tightly, the pedaling motion will cause them to unthread.

My "floating arms" were eBay purchases too. I have the other one over my tool box.

Thanks Dragfluid. In the '50's to 60's, there wasn't a drafting table around that didn't have one attached. It's a Dazor "Floating Arm". For me, light coming from behind me doesn't help much...this lets me shine it right on my work.

Installing new spring shackles...you'll use it more (and like it more) with two rolling jacks.

I use the Mityvac 7201 for oil changes on the Audi. It siphons 6.6 quarts in less than 5 minutes. Audi's oil filter is on top so there's no need to put the vehicle on the lift. Quick and clean.
