Thanks for all your input thus far. I stumbled on this thread, but I’m not ready to take on my Linley project. I’ll let you know when I have the time to invest in it. Right now, I’m building an engine for my Beetle. It’s been sitting for 2.5 years and I want to drive it in the spring.
That all makes sense. I have to get back on this project. This pic is a junk head that experimented with. The head is actually just sitting there. I did make a fixture to hold it down. I’m actually out of sharp cutting blades.

I moved my repeater closer to the garage and streamed music for a few hours today. It used to cut out before. The repeater just plugsi to a wall outlet.
After shoveling some snow and cleaning off some cars. I turned on the heat and got out there. I had bought a non stock VW beetle engine and decided to open her up to see what I have. Mostly pleasantly surprised. A non stock displacement of 1904cc!
I let the smoke out of my drill a few times. But, it’s still going. I think my newest favorite item is the digital tire inflator. $20 on sale, a year or so ago.
The Ryobi cordless die type grinder is drill shaped. I think it would still be handy. I think I burned through 2 HF corded big in-line grinders. So, I need a replacement. I love just gabbing a cordless tool.
